Excerpt: This is a nice sized camera with many features. I enjoy using the viewfinder for most of my shots which is good since the fold-out viewer is difficult to see in sunlight and is less than optimal for low angle shots; mostly because of the reduced resolution and reflections. Finding my way around the different menus is sometimes confusing but eventually it all works out.
Pros: Easy To Use, Fast / Accurate Auto-Focus, Fast Shutter Speed, Good Image Quality, Good Image Stabilization, Quiet
Summary: I am an amateur photographer who likes to take action video and family home videos. This camera is 60% amazing for video 40% fantastic for pictures. I admit it is not as forgiving as Canon Rebel but you can't compare the quality of the video. Its just cinema quality. The pictures really aren't much different. I bought some good lenses and low light lenses and it made it so you can't see any fuzziness due to my inability. I also enjoy lighthouse to edit.
Excerpt: Wonderful camera. Small, great for video while still having decent stills, weatherproof, good battery life, light, durable. The only complaints I have with this camera is that the video and photo settings are not independent. This means what ever shutter speed you set for a still, when you switch to video it will be the same shutter speed and it's a bit of a pain to scroll it back to 1/50 each time.
Pros: Good Battery Life, Tilt /Swivel LCD, Video Oriented, Weatherproof
Summary: This camera has some heft to it, and when I received it I found that it was larger than I expected. (Now there is a page called camerasizes which would have helped.) All the knobs and buttons have a solid feel to them. I was able to take great photos at a Florida nature preserve with the Panasonic 100-300mm zoom lens. I have no complaints, although I wish some of the lenses weren't so expensive.
Excerpt: I love this camera for video. The quality of the image is amazing. Panasonic has done it again. However, the stills are not quite up to the quality I'm used to (Canon). They are usable but not quite there yet. Not problem for me as I've kept all of my Canon glass and equipment. The touch screen, the ability to customize your shooting profiles, the high bit rate for video makes this a tremendous value and worthwhile investment. Get it you won't regret it.
Pros: Fast / Accurate Auto-Focus, Fast Shutter Speed, Good Image Quality, Good Image Stabilization, Large Clear LCD, Quiet, Tilt /Swivel LCD
Excerpt: I use this camera mainly for video but photos seem to look nice also. I used to have the GH2 but I became an early adopter when the GH3 arrived. The largest draw for my switch was the weatherproofed body! The second draw were separate inputs for audio out and audio in. But there's a lot more to love abot this camera.

**Before you read further, I really do enjoy this camera even though this review may seem negative.
Summary: Old school photographic tools with contemporary technological enhancements that spurs the creative imagination! The compact access nature of the input and output A/V connections are a bit annoying to access but overall - the camera is superb.
The best micro 4/3 body I've used (so far), but Amazon has a stupid policy.

Summary: This was the most I'd ever spent for just a camera body (in the digital age), and Robin and I took this, along with a G5KK body, an Olympus E-Pm2 body and a bunch of lenses to Dallas for the "Texas Frightmare Weekend". Between the 3 camera bodies, this one by far took the most accurate color images I'd seen before [using my usual ISO 1600 to avoid flash]. The way the buttons are placed, and the size of the camera itself - not too tiny to hold, this was a joy to use.
