Summary: A friend has a Lumix and even though I use a Canon EOS, his photos could always match mine or best them. Most of the time having a small point and shoot is the easiest way to do your photography when having a large camera is cumbersome, not practical for having a camera with you all the time for spontaneous shots and puts your pricey equipment in situations for either equipment damage or theft.
Summary: The perfect traveling companion. Pro:s Great clear pictures 1A automatic mode sets almost every thing anti blur works fine in low light long lasting battery great movies fits in pockets 8x zoom and wide angle make for great photo's Con limited flash range of 8 feet
Summary: I first saw this camera in a store, but still wanted to shop around. I am still getting use to all the features on it. However it takes great pictures and I love how easy it is to transfer them to my computer. SO SIMPLE! In fact when I showed my mother in law it. She wanted one. So I went back online and purchased the same one for her. Now a friend of ours wants the same camera. What does that tell you? :) GREAT PRICE hands down.
Summary: I love this camera! It's the perfect point and shoot for an amateur photographer. It's small and compact with a sleek and stylish design and has a 2.7" LCD screen. It's not a touch screen, which I personally prefer, since touch screens don't seem to last as long. My favorite feature is its 25mm Leica lens, which is one of the best lenses money can buy.
Summary: I've been a Canon user for many many years, and recently my 2 year old Canon SureShot started acting flaky so I purchased this Sony, at the recommendation of a friend and after reading the good reviews [@].I have to say, this camera is a significant improvement over the Canon line!I haven't played with the video recording yet so I cannot comment on that.
Pros: Good Image Stabilization, Good in Low Light, Nice Body Color, Short Lag Time
Summary: Having an older model panasonic lumix, I was looking to upgrade. First I purchased a nikon coolpix but unfortunately too many of shots came out blury. After using this camera for about a month, I find it very easy to use. Either set the camera on the IA feature or customize your own settings. This camera, although very compact, takes excellent pictures. I even have shots of the city skyline at night and some of fireworks. I would highly recommend this camera.
