Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZX3

CNET
19 April 2014
  • Summary: The Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZX3 is a great little camera if you can ignore the over-the-top tech that the company insists on throwing at its compacts
  • Cons: Confusing zoom options; too many complex 'intelligent' technologies.

A small Panasonic camera with a big 8x zoom and plenty of megapixels; it's great for travellers

Good Gear Guide.au
5 September 2010
  • Summary: The Panasonic LUMIX DMC-ZR3 offers plenty of zoom in a small and manageable package. Its focal range is 25-200mm, so you can take it to the zoo or just use it around the house. Travellers will also find it a useful gadget as it can be used to quickly capture HD video. However, its image quality isn't perfect and softness and noise will be very noticeable if you crop photos heavily.
  • Pros: Compact, big zoom, can take reasonably clear photos, ISO limiter, good focusing
  • Cons: Images are a little soft, image noise
