The Panasonic LUMIX ZS8 is a digital camera with a 24mm ultra-wide-angle LEICA DC VARIO-ELMAR lens with 16x optical zoom and supports full 720p video recording, a 3.0-inch, 230,000-dot LCD display and built-in GPS (Global Positioning System) function that lets users geotag images. It supports 720p HD video recording in Motion JPEG. The camera also supports stereo sound of Dolby® Digital sound. The LUMIX ZS10 will be available in black and silver.

Features

The DMC-ZS8 features a 3.0-inch large 230,000-dot Intelligent LCD display that allows users to preview their shots taken via its LEICA DC VARIO-SUMMARIT, 24mm ultra-wide angle lens with 16x optical zoom (21x with Intelligent Zoom function). The camera also features Intelligent Scene Selector in the iA mode, which automatically sets the camera to the appropriate mode according to the subject touched; full-HD videos and still photos capture; Panasonic 3D Photo mode, which produces a realistic 3D photo by taking 20 consecutive photos and overlaying the two best to create a 3D image; supports formats that can be played on a Panasonic VIERA 3D HDTV, supports MPO format that allows users to play back their recording /images on other MPO-compatible equipment such as a televisions, digital photo frames and printers; LUMIX Image Uploader that allows users to share via Facebook (for digital photos) or YouTube (for videos) through its USB cable connected to a PC or by inserting the SD Memory Card directly into the PC’s SD Card slot.
