Summary: I've only had the camera a short while but so far it's what I wanted. The pictures are clear when printed and the zoom lens captured a clear picture from a distance. The settings were easy to learn and use. The camera came with a nice hard case to protect it. So far no complaints. Good camera for the money.
Summary: There are a few points brought up by other reviews that I will share my thoughts on: 1. There are situations where this camera seems to take longer to focus but you should be able to tell when it reaches a sharp point. The 16 MP photos allow cropping and enlargement without sacrificing any sharpeness. 2 The flash is adequate but your ability to turn it off and use its excellent low-light capabilities may be a better choice 3.
Summary: Excellent camera!!! The zoom is great! Colors are bright and it shoots quickly (I had to return a Nikon Coolpix because it took so long to shoot). Pictures are great at day and at night. After being a Sony user for years I tried Panasonic Lumix because of my sister's advice and I am really happy!!!!
Summary: I love this little camera. Because of it I have undertaken a long-term photography project that I have been wanting to do for a long time. The camera lived with me for three and a half months on the Appalachian Trail last spring and summer. It never let me down. It preserved my trip for a lifetime. I only wish that there was a decent manual that came along with it so I could learn how to use the many functions this camera can provide.
Summary: I purchased a Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS25. I only used the camera 4 - 5 times when the shutter would not close -- and I had used it very carefully and very gently. It was not dropped, etc. Since it was still under warranty, I was told that the manufacturer was responsible, not Smart Guard. I sent it to the Panasonic Factory as required. They told me that there was a dent in the lens -- which they were not responsible for. It would cost me $131.91 to replace the part.

Summary: I would have rated this camera 4 stars except for the fact that the sensor got dust spots within 2 months. I had purchased this to replace and older Panasonic Lumix which had acquired many dust spots over a two year period. The camera is light weight and does a great job in low light. It does not have a fill in mode but automatically blends multiple exposures to compensate for variable brightness. Nonetheless, you will end up with spots in your photos.

Summary: This camera has a Leica lens and fits in my purse. I use it all the time and the best thing about it is the wide angle --telephoto range on this camera. I use other camera's when I am serious about the quality of my images, but this little baby does a great job in a pinch.
