Amazed what Panasonic packed in camera

Summary: I've used this camera for a few months and each time I use it I learn even more about all the options and controls. I still need to read to full-length manual, but the short get-started manual is a good start. I don't think I'll get board anytime soon checking out all the features. One thing that some people may have gotten frustrated with is… in some ways it’s not the typical consumer point and shoot.
Summary: I just want to focus on one issue. Geoff reviewed this camera but unfortunately he didn't realize that an external charging solution is possible (although it might be a little difficult to source) but there are two parts together that can provide the external (and therefore faster charging needed).
Pros: Inexpensive, Compact, Easy to use, Exceeded expectations, Convenient
Summary: ...My review will not contain technical information about this camera, rather it will be about the reasons why I love this camera. I own several digital cameras including a couple of Olpmpus and a couple of Canon and a couple of Panasonic. So far, of all my digital cameras, this is by far my favorite. Why? Because it does what I want.
Summary: I've had this camera now for about 6 months. I absolutely love it!! I previously bought a Fuji Finepix F70EXR and I really tried to get it to take decent pictures, but was unsuccessful. Then I read about the Lumix ZS20. It had very good reviews, but so did the Fuji. I decided to take the plunge and buy it. This is the best little camera I've owned so far.
Summary: Okay, I like the Panasonic's Zs cameras. They're easy to get the hang of and I've had no reliability issues. I started with a Panasonic Zs3. Later on I upgraded to a Zs7, then when I saw Amazon was selling a Zs9 which was the same as the Zs8 but with a stereo microphone and the price wasn't much over $100 (from Amazon Warehouse), I couldn't resist buying it for its 16x zoom. It's been a great camera.
Summary: We ride motorcycle and my wife takes pics during all of our trips, even local ones. She wanted a camera that was faster than our Lumix ZS7. This camera is great. Because it is very similar to the ZS7 and takes the same battery, her learning curve was very short. The burst mode is great and allows us to get good shots that we would have missed. Not easy getting good pics at 70 mph from the back of the bike.

Summary: I picked this up for an extended trip through Alaska to use for its zoom and video as I did not want to lug around a large SLR with telephoto and a video camera. I am very impressed with this camera, very easy to use with excellent battery life over 250 shots on one battery. Quick turn on time for those shots needed quick out of the pocket, the zoom is fast the picture quality is excellent the steady hand feature at extended zoom worked beautifully.
Summary: We previously owned a Lumix ZS7 and was extremely happy with the camera. It took great pictures, particularly outdoors which is where we take most of our pictures. Sadly it broke (dropped it), so we needed a replacement. Whatever camera we were going to buy to replace the ZS7 had some very big shoes to fill, and we were convinced no camera would match it's quality given the type of camera and price range we were looking.
Summary: I went to a hotel by an outdoor auditorium. My friend had tickets to the concert and a room for us to watch from. We were 17 stories up and totally outside and behind the arena I was shooting with full 40x zoom through double pane glass that was dirty on both sides hand held/ no tripod and got amazingly close pictures that had the people so close that they filled the picture. The zoom and stabilization are amazing.
