Summary: I am no photographer but I love to take pics on my trips overseas. It requires a good zoom. This camera does a great job with or without zoom. I checked the zoom against my Panasonic SLR 25x camera and it compared (clarity) very well. I only use Panasonic because I don't want to have to learn new icons and configurations. I have really been impressed with their cameras.
Summary: I purchased this camera just before going on a trip to Europe. The camera was wonderful!! I especially like the i on night setting; it took great nighttime shots when there was low lighting. Took a city night tour one night and got some great shots of the bridges and buildings with all there lights on.
Summary: Awesome camera, the zoom is amazing. It takes awesome photos too. I highly recommend this camera. It is slighter larger and heavier than most "pocket" size cameras, but is still very compact and can fit in your pocket.
Summary: This is my second camera from the Panasonic Lumix ZS series and like the earlier model, I love it. Great mega-zoom (20x), with a nice wide angle (24mm equiv) and a very compact profile. Photo quality is very good (but of course never good enough if, like me, you like super-detailed photos yet don't want to sacrifice the convenience of a compact). Easy-to-learn and use controls are an added benefit. Only downside: no WiFi although the newer ZS30 has this covered.
Summary: The video and photo quality of this camera is just amazing. Its crystal clear, and HD all around. I bought this just before our first child was born and wow. The zoom is great, but the video quality just is amazing. I will include a couple samples of the video here. But its just an amazing camera. The photos, and the settings are amazing. The camera even remembers people, like our son. It tells you how old he is and his name is saved in it.
