Summary: This is a great smaller Panasonic camera with great zoom and good battery life. The GPS feature does use battery more quickly so I only turn that on when I want to use it and it does work great.
Summary: Like the ZS19, the ZS 20 delivers. Great travel camera. Lightweight ( compared to the new Canon XS700 it is like a feather), sleek and quick. Great pix, and lots of great features. Price at 170 is perfect. A better value than its newer sibling ( ZS25) from Panasonic.
Summary: I've had two Panasonic Lumix cameras. I had the first for three years and never had a problem with it. I eventually upgraded to the ZS20 for more zoom and GPS capabilities. Until recently, I was 100% satisfied with my camera.
Summary: Lens stopped operating within a year and this is the second Lumix camera in my family with the exact same problem. I have read and heard about many others running into the exact same problem, and hence buyer beware. I am spending almost $100 per camera to repair the two that our family owns.
Summary: I specifically purchased this camera for an extended backpacking trip due to its wide zoom and light weight. It took good pictures while it worked but after 4 months the display failed. I have read that this is not unusual with the camera so I sent it in for warranty repair.
Summary: I am no photographer but I love to take pics on my trips overseas. It requires a good zoom. This camera does a great job with or without zoom. I checked the zoom against my Panasonic SLR 25x camera and it compared (clarity) very well.
Summary: Awesome camera, the zoom is amazing. It takes awesome photos too. I highly recommend this camera. It is slighter larger and heavier than most "pocket" size cameras, but is still very compact and can fit in your pocket.
