Summary: This has been a great camera for the price. I studied reviews in a particular price range. This Panasonic was rated highly if one took the time to learn how to use the settings. The reviews were accurate. If you leave it on automatic, the pictures are okay, even good.

Summary: Since my first 'digital' camera, I have owned 6 other small digital cameras. I have paid as much as 4 times the price of my Panasonic Lumix for one camera. I paid less than $100.00 for the Lumix and it is by far the BEST digital camera I've owned.
Summary: I bought this camera for myself as a present for mother's day. This panasonic lumix is one of the best purchase I made in my life to date. This is an excellent camera that produces top quality images. The more I read up on my camera the better my pictures comes out.
Summary: best point and shoot ever owned! I've owned many camaras this is the absolute best one ever. I also owned many Slrs , this camara does a great job on shutter speed and action (sports) photography.
Summary: Bought this camera prior to a cruise vacation with the husband. We were delighted with our great photos upon the return from our cruise. THis fall, I took photos of the children (similar to a portrait studio) outside - just to see how they would turn out. I was so delighted.
Great performance for the price. Excellent value for money!

Summary: I am completely satisfied with this camera - the menus are intuitive, the startup speed is pretty good, the battery is good, and the pictures it takes are great. The intelligent auto works great if you're too lazy to adjust the settings, but it gives you lots of opportunity to make manual...
