Excerpt: I had a canon powershot camera as my first digital camera and I was ok with it. I bought this one because I was fed up with replacing AA batteries and the under exposure problem with my powershot. This camera takes good pictures, the big lens takes in more light so that there is no need for unnecessary flashes. It saves battery and gives better results because of this.
Excerpt: We bought this camera for our trip to Europe, and it captured the shots with amazing clarity! It is really easy to learn how to use it. Has the best zoom feature I've ever used. Great video quality and sound, too, for my needs. Took it to a few concerts and had great recordings to see the next day! A friend of ours took photo's at my son's wedding with his Lumix. His pictures came out beautiful -- the colors were just gorgeous!
Excerpt: I recently purchased the Panasonic DMC-ZS1 10MP 12X Digital Camera for my girlfriend as an early Christmas gift, and she absolutely loves it! It is extremely easy to use, and the pictures of her dog do not have the "red-eye" effect that I see in almost every indoor picture involving a flash. We added a 4 GB memory card (not included), and she should be set for the rest of her life in the camera department.
Summary: Very good camara, the baterry can be charge in any country witghout the need of a convertor. REatures are agood, but where better on my prevoius Panasonic. Zoom is good enought for a camara this size. I do recommend panasonic to anyone.
Absolute steal if you don't need HD video, then get the FZ3

Summary: WOW is all I can say about this P&S camera! 10 MP and 12X OPTICAL zoom at a buck and a quarter still make me say wow. I currently have a Lumix FX8 that has been a stellar performer. It's so small that it goes everywhere I go. The FZ1 is 50% bigger, but you've got to have somewhere to put a 12x optical zoom lens. The slight increase in size and weight is the only difference and you've go to pay for what you get some how.
Summary: I own a Panasonic DMC-FZ50 which I love but I recently went on a cruise and realized that there are times when it is too large to carry around--so I did some research and decided that the ZS3 would be exactly perfect for my needs. I am very happy with it and the service I got after ordering it.
Excerpt: Superb camera. Brilliant Leica lens, very sharp throughout the range, with limited distortion as for superzoom. Very compact, it is very tempting to take this camera out instead of heavy tele lens. Overall very balanced camera. I am very happy about handling and IQ. Problems: Noticeable noise starting from ISO 400.
Summary: I was looking all over the internet and best buy to find the best camera at a good price that would be great for concerts. Not just pictures but the video, audio was key for me. I came across this camera while looking up "best cameras for concerts" on Google. It looked great! I looked at videos on YouTube and loved it even more. Clear picture and great audio. So i went to eBay and found one that was "manufacturer refurbished".
