Review: Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ50

20 October 2008
  • Excerpt: Serving up a hefty helping of stainless steel and Leica glass, the TZ50 seals its ultrazoom dominance with integrated WiFi for straight-to-the-web image transfers (from your nearest T-Mobile hot spot).
  • Pros: Big, bright 3-inch LCD. 9.1-megapixel resolution. 10X optical zoom lens goes wide to 28 mm. Shoots HD video at 720p and 30 fps.
  • Cons: WiFi and HD video are 0 premium over otherwise identical TZ5. Supports uploading to Picasa only. All that metal adds up to a hefty load.
