Summary: Didn't think I would like this so much but it has been a good little workhorse camera. The video and still modes are both good. The only problem I have had is you can't see the screen or anyones screen, in the bright sunshine, but I have never regretted the purchase.
Summary: Pictures quality + dimensions + price = very good thing. This DC provides video and audio recording with very good quality. Good for trips, hiking and entertainment. I would recommend Lumix DMC-TZ5K 9MP as a medium class DC.
Summary: This camera has rich colors with a simple point and click. No fuss necessary. You have great options to mess with if you are inclined. Have had it for a long time and still get comments on the beautiful color quality from others.
Summary: I was writing a review for another item and here comes my old Lumix TZ5 review Already 5 years i make good photos with this camera. No problems at all.We feel very happy with this camera. Great product and great price that time.
Summary: I've had several examples of this camera and here are my thoughts. pros: great zoom capabilities decent LCD good anti shake easy controls cons: poor macro only has one place to fasten a shoulder strap so the camera dangles from the corner and the strap falls across the LCD when shooting in normal mode the pictures seem pale ok: the battery life is decent. It's a good camera but not a great camera.
Summary: The TZ5 is a handy little camera that is excellent for taking pictures. You can choose 4:3, 3:2, or 16:9 ratios. I use this for taking 16:9 pictures which I typically add to video productions. When taking videos, the 30 fps mode provides a good video picture. The drawbacks to me are: 1. The tiny microphone is located on the top of the unit, not the front.
Summary: this was my very first Panasonic experience and how I do love this camera with al of its characteristics especially the Burst mode. Its quite durable too...I have had it for over 4 years now and its still in optimum condition.
Summary: Okay, this camera is a little dated now for the series and in the meantime a lot of point and shoots from Canon with more pix do even better, this screen is great for showing people what you took, it's metal frame makes it sturdy and more durable than the plastic stuff out there, tons of options and settings. The dial is great and there's a manual selection...
