  • Conclusion: Despite that, the Zoom mode will really win a huge amount of people over and this camera has to be a really good choice for someone who doesn’t mind their compact cameras a little bigger

Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ4 Review

Digital Camera Review
13 April 2008
  • Excerpt: The Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ4 , along with its more feature-rich sibling, the TZ5, is the latest incarnation of Panasonic's compact ultrazoom concept to begin making its way to store shelves. As with previous TZ models, the 8.1 megapixel TZ4 offers up a rather considerable 10x zoom range in a camera only slightly larger than a standard compact.
  • Pros: Great exposure, vibrant color, Easy to use, byt with enough flexibility for serious shooters, 10x zoom in a compact is still fantastic, Excellent movie mode with widescreen capture, HD output
  • Cons: Long-end AF issues, Still noisier than many competitors beyond ISO 400, Not small enough to fit in a pocket, May not be widely available in the U.S.

Panasonic DMC TZ4

  • Conclusion: As you can see I like the Panasonic DMC TZ4. There is a bit of a gap in the market for a compact camera with a long zoom lens and this camera fills that gap well.
  • Pros: Ease of use - design and build quality - overall picture quality - wide screen movies - size and length of lens - wide angle lens
  • Cons: There is nothing that stands out

MSI Wind U100 Review

Tracy and Matt's Blog
11 September 2008
  • Summary: So how does the MSI Wind stack up? As you can tell, I liked the machine a lot. As a portable computer it succeeds totally. Whilst the individual components differ little from much of the opposition, the end result is somehow “more” and incredibly effective. It’s small without being too small. It’s light but feels well-built, it’s roomy but highly portable, it’s reasonably powerful and noticeably quick.
