Two of the big success stories of the past year have been Panasonic's Lumix TZ2 and TZ3 . In a market saturated with tiny over-powered 3x zoom compacts, the 6-megapixel TZ2 and the 7-megapixel TZ3 offered a unique specification, with a relatively large but ergonomically designed body, a high quality Leica-branded 10x optical zoom lens and a range of easy-to-use automatic functions. Both cameras sold very well, especially the higher resolution TZ3, so it's no surprise... Read more

I had this camera for only a week and took over 3000 shots. I love to photograph wildlife and needed a great zoom - this camera was Awesome, bad thing is, someone else thought so too. I have missed it so much these last few days, that I just ordered it's bigger brother the TZ5 - I would have ordered this same exact one, but was unable to locate it reasonably priced (all wanted more than I initially paid). Though not a Pro - I was able to capture some pro shots of a momma... Read more
Recently I have upgraded my TZ1 to the TZ4 (Great value at the time of purchase). I was extremely pleased with the TZ1 once I got to know the camera limitations. However, I decided to upgrade the camera mainly for the wide angle lens of the TZ4 and reported better high ISO quality. Like the the TZ1 this camera has it's own limitations largely due to noise in low light situations. However, there is a noticable quality improvement between the photographs of the TZ4 and... I own a Nikon 5600 point and shoot and was satisfied with it... Later I upgraded to an entry level SLR (Nikon D60).. However, it was not possible for me to take the D60 everywhere and so was in need of a point n shoot that could give me good pictures and a good optical zoom in any lighting conditions.. After reading a lot of reviews about the Tz4K I finally bought one... I am very satisfied with the purchase Read more or see product
I love the image quality, the auto-stabilization, and the zoom, but its size and design are just a bit off. The lcd juts another quarter inch from the rest of the already inch and a quarter thick camera. But I don't really consider it an ultracompact camera, so I guess that's fine. Performance is awesome when you're doing straightforward shooting. Read more
