Summary: After using an Olympus FE-230 for the last eight years, and more recently admiring the superior quality images of my mother-in-law's Lumix, I finally took the plunge and bought one. So far, so good.
Summary: Very pleased with the photo quality, and camera is very easy to use. Takes excellent macro shots. Loaded with features, most of which I haven't yet tried and probably never will, but if you take 'people' shots more than 'scene' shots, there are lots of features.
Summary: A great buy! I have had a x12 camera for a while but wanted something more powerful for photographing wildlife. This is small and light , doesn't make my neck ache while I'm walking, and fits into my bag without making it uncomfortably heavy. Brill! Also easy to move into video mode.
Summary: I am amazed at the performance of this camera compared with my last digital camera which was the top of the range 7 years ago. My only reservation is that it is just too big to slip into your pocket, but the performance and Leica lens in my view makes it tremendous value for money.
Summary: Great results so far. Took it to a concert as my old camera (6 optical zoom) was not giving the results for distance shots. Results seem vastly improved. Lovely build lots more features to try as yet.u
