Summary: Honestly this is one of the best cameras I have ever owned for the price. Usually I take super crappy pics and NO a cell phone isn't a replacement for a true camera. This camera takes all of the guess work out of good picture taking. Worth price and also it can't take some really great distance shots.
Summary: I read about this camera at length before buying it. I have a professional camera that I take on vacations most of the time and I purchased this one as a second "point and shoot" camera to carry along with us for quick shots or to use when I did not want to carry the larger camera. I admit, some of the photos that I have taken with this camera rival the ones that I have taken with my professional camera that costs a whole lot more!
Great seller. Delivery was rapid and product in great shape.

Summary: This was a replacment camera for one like it that got dirt internal and on lens. I like this one better and at about the cost for repair of my older model. I like the GPS feature on this camera that older model did not have. Camera is simple to use and takes excelent telephoto shots. Nice pocket camera. I would recommend it.
Summary: I have been an avid photo nut for 30+ years. I wanted a small point & shoot for trips to places I've been before where I didn't want to carry around me DSLR. The short of it is, this is one of the top, by most reviews. I think the ZS10 is now available, but the ZS10 actually lowered some of the features to lesser quality. Why this Point & Shoot?
Summary: Bought this camera for our trip to Alaska. Best digital camera I've ever owned and I've owned a few. I've owned Kodax, Canon, Olympus and now this Panasonic Lumix. I read all the reviews and I am so happy I went with this one. NO problems with this camera whatsoever. And it takes the greatest pictures and video. You won't be sorry you purchased this.
Excerpt: I have the TZ10 for some months now and like the camera. Image quality is good, even at higher ISOs usable. Sharp and crisp. Colours are overall ok. Build quality is excellent, full-metal. Battery life is acceptable and spares cheap. Movie mode is good, not only a gimmick and captures good quality films. No rolling shutter because it has a CCD sensor. Hackable with Vitalys firmware mod for improving movie quality.
Summary: Although this camera isn't the smallest in its category, it is small enough to keep in a jacket pocket, plus it takes outstanding photos. It has a great range of features including a built-in GPS that allows you to geo-tag your photos and a zoom that has an optical range extending from true wide-angle to moderate telephoto. In addition, it takes good flash photos, a feature not found on most cameras in its class.
