Summary: The camera was great while it lasted. When I received it I could hardly believe how well it worked and that it was waterproof to boot I purchased it specifically for snorkeling in Hawaii. My sister then borrowed it for her honeymoon a month later, also in Hawaii.
Summary: Pics are great and camera has cool features, but don't bother buying if you want to go into the water. If you don't have problems in the first couple of times getting in the water, you will certainly have in the near future. Water simply leaks inside, fogs lenses and makes camera useless.
Summary: Purchased this item just to use on our honeymoon cruise and excursions. Worked well the first two days on our cruise and took video of us swimming with the dolphins, well unfortunately the day after we went snorkeling and snuba in less than 30 feet of water and in less than 30 mins the camera no...
Summary: I bought this camera to take to the beach so I could keep it with me while I swim. It's not listed online but this camera can only be in the water for 60 minutes at a time. So you can't keep it with you all day.
Summary: Bought it, liked it well enough, although pic quality is nothing to brag about. used it for one week, then for no apparent reason the flash seemed to have died, and every time I tried to take a pic that used the flash, the camera would jst freeze and need to be turned off and on again for any...
Summary: I bought this camera for my brother who was going to a beach resort on his honeymoon. After just the first day of water use the camera got a few water droplets inside the lens and screen. It seems to have a leak somewhere near the lens because when you shake it water comes out the side of it.
Worked well until it filled with water after 7 days despite following all instructions including keeping cover closed AND locked

Summary: The camera was well rated and took great photos but while snorkeling (and I know to keep camera under 43 feet-but then again who can snorkel dive that deep-certainly not I) at a depth of less than 5 feet deep it filled with water.
Summary: I have not, as far as I can remember, ever written an Amazon review. The failure of this camera has prompted me to do so. That alone should tell you something. First, be forewarned that movies take with the Panasonic Lumix DMC-TS5 are split up into multiple files in multiple folders on the memory...
Summary: I got this for my vacation and invested in the expensive Marine case for Scuba dives and while the camera worked well in the case as soon as i walked into the ocean without the extra case just 5 feet deep it filled with water and died.
