Summary: Love this camera! Used this while snorkeling in the Philippines and Maui--it is so nice not having to worry about getting the camera wet or even dropping it! The photo quality was also very good.
Summary: really love the camera, but my TS3 bit the dust from being in water which is bad for a waterproof camera. I used to keep it in the water for several hours before it died. I didn't do that with this one to avoid that but lost this camera a few months ago after having for about a year.
Summary: Great camera. Yes, it's a little expensive, but you get what you paid for. I bought this for a trip with the family, and I do have to say that the under water feature is my favorite. Videos are pretty good quality and I take this camera everywhere with me when I go on a trip!
Summary: Works fairly well. I have run into one issue: - Beach sand has gotten into the buttons and caused issues. I had sand at one point wedge into a button and it would release. I had to work on getting the sand out.
Summary: In my experience, as a rule, waterproof cameras take crap photographs - when compared to equivalent non-waterproof cameras costing about half as much. This one was a peasant surprise and basically functions just like any other compact digital camera.
Summary: I had a previous Lumix waterproof that gave out after several years. The design is improved, and now has only one waterproof door (the earlier model had 2). Used this camera extensively to take still pictures and movies while snorkeling. Very happy with the results.
Summary: bought this camera for a 8 day White water rafting trip down the grand canyon/ colorado river.... i beat the tar out of this camera.. it didn't miss a beat. the camera quality was great the video was also great however it is a little sensitive to wind noise. other than that it get a 10 in my book.
