Summary: I took this camera on a trip to Australia. It was great for travel because I did not have to worry much about getting it wet during my travel. I took it snorkeling in the Great Barrier Reef and also in hot springs in Iceland and have never had a problem. LOVE IT!
Summary: This camera is really good for its purpose that is to be used in the water. The pictures one out nice. I cannot expect professional photos out of a p&S camera but the photos from the under water condition is good. My friends like it so much that they bought their own too.
Summary: I bought this just a few days before my wife and I took a two week vacation in Hawaii. We discovered our previous (non-waterproof) digital camera, after many years of service, no longer turned on. Thankfully 2-day Prime shipping got this camera to us the day before we left! Overall we are very pleased with the usability of the camera and quality of the photos.
Summary: I was in a pinch to get a waterproof digital camera for a once in a lifetime vacation. More specifically I was expecting this camera to work underwater. While I'm not a camera fanatic I will say this took decent pictures underwater. What's funny was I was snorkeling and I couldn't see more than a half foot in any direction so I just randomly snapped photos. The random shots came out quite well even though they are a little greenish.
Summary: I've used it in and out of a boat, on the beach, swimming and diving a little taking pitures... You dont have to worry about it will get wet, the pictures are great in and out of the water - the only thing you have to do is wipe the lens when you take it out of the water cause the pics will be blurry... Overall great camera!
Summary: This camera is a beast. Not only does it take great photos, both underwater and above, but it survived a great ordeal. I work at a remote fly fishing lodge in Montana, and was very sad when my camera slipped out of my breast pocket during and epic fly tangle rescue in high (13+ feet) early June water. Only this last week did I get a chance to float the same section of river and attempt a rescue.
Summary: So amazing it works under water. Extremely durable. It has survived 2 years with two toddlers!!! The pictures may not be as good as some other cameras but its a pretty good camera in that department too.
