Summary: I bought this camera for a trip I was going on. I haven't used it underwater yet. The zoom is not the greatest compared to my other cameras . But the fact that it is waterproof makes it less stressful taking it near water areas. I simply hook the Case Logic TBC-302 Ultra Compact Camera Case with Storage carrying case I bought for it to my life vest and take it kayaking with me.
Summary: Good Underwater camera. Out of water pictures are good not great. I have a Canon SLR, so I might be biased. This is a waterproof point at shoot that is easy to use underwater and takes pretty good pictures. Overall I've been happy with the camera as it suits my need for a camera to take snorkeling/kayaking/camping and not have to worry about getting it wet. I know other people who have had a lot of durability issues with underwater cameras.
Summary: Purchased this camera after a lot of research on durable small camera's for my husband. I was looking for a camera that took quality digital pictures of things standing still, moving objects/animals, and a camera that took quick pictures to get those moving objects. I purchased the 32GB SDHC digital card for use, which was a little overkill, but it can hold over 4,000 pic's using the 16MB quality. Decision Points - Quality Pic's - from color to contrast is awesome.
Summary: I could not find the list of contents in the product description. I ordered a panasonic battery charger in addition to the camera. Upon delivery, I found the camera comes with its own battery charger. Contents include; camera, strap, battery, charger, CD and instruction booklet. Hope this saves someone else from the same mistake.
Summary: I bought the Panasonic TS20 digital camera for my trip and was very pleased! The camera is made of mostly metal and feels very solid and durable. It is very compact and fits in my pocket without a problem, a big plus+ for traveling and wanting to avoid carrying a big camera. Also, having this camera made me feel more comfortable about not scratching or damaging it because it is made to be handled without the 'white glove' treatment.
Summary: Purchased this camera for our honeymoon simply for its underwater capabilities. We had planned to take all other pictures with our iPhones, but were so happy with the quality of the pictures, we ended up using them for everything. Great buy for the price.
Summary: I'm happy with the camera's abilities, functions, pictures, and videos. Too bad the software that comes with the camera isn't Mac compatible (no Mac downloads for this photo suite on panasonic's website either). I know there is free software out there, I just think that the software is part of the purchase price and should work with both PC/Mac. Panasonic needs to catch up with the rest of the software world.
Summary: Bought this camera for the sole purpose of getting some fun pool and snorkeling pics while on a tropical vacation, and it worked GREAT! No technical issues whatsoever. The photo and video quality are relatively poor compared to a SLR, but that's a given. My only gripe is that you need to remember to set the mode before you start shooting i.e. under water, sand and surf, indoor etc ... otherwise the white balance and exposure are a little off.
Summary: I've used disposable water proof camera and did not like them. So I decided to buy a waterproof digital camera instead. I wanted it for the main purpose of being able to kayak and not have to worry about the camera. I just came back from a trip. I kept the camera in my bathing suit pocket when not taking pictures. I took quite a few from the kayak and no issues with water.
