Summary: Would not recommend this product. I followed the directions specifically as I was told they were important and the camera failed after 2 uses. I ended up returning this product and purchasing a GoPro, which I could not be happier.
Summary: I bought 2 of these cameras. One for me and one for my husband. Took one on a trip and the first time we used it (very carefully as per directions) in the water, it died. It leaked a very small amount and never worked again. A few months later we took the next new one on the trip.
Summary: It was a great p/s camera while it worked. We used it underwater during 2 vacations with good results. This year it leaked and even after a dry rice treatment, it's not working. The door was shut properly, and I didn't dive.
Summary: This camera is offered at a very competitive price which enticed me to buy it for a recent trip. Now all I can think of is the old maxim "You Get What You Pay For." In this case, I got a poor quality camera that even the manufacturer seems to acknowledge.
Summary: Please listen to this review and save some money. I spent hours and hours researching underwater cameras and this one rated highest in the under $200 range(although as you know they were all closely rated). I went to a retailer and bought it on sale for $180.
