Summary: I never write reviews. I probably should because I purchase a lot of products and for the most part, they perform as advertised. However, I purchased this camera in late August of 2012 to take on a cruise. We used it and enjoyed it for the 2 days that we were doing underwater pictures. We used it a time or two above water during the next 12 months. We took less than 100 pictures and less than 5 minutes of video all total in a year.
Summary: We bought this camera for a trip to St. John. It worked fine for the first part of the first day, then started to fog up, which lasted the rest of the day. The next day it seemed to have recovered (out of the water), but as soon as we started using it while snorkeling it fogged up again; then went into a loop where it was flashing something on the screen, then off, then on... Finally, it just stopped working altogether.
Water leaked in 2nd time using it underwater - DON'T BUY!!

Summary: We purchased this camera last summer after reading many, many reviews. We took it to Cozumel last July 2012. We were very happy with the pictures and video this camera took while we were snorkeling. We used the camera out of the water for several months afterwards. We just took the camera back to Cozumel last month, and the first day we used it underwater, water leaked in. We were extremely upset that we do not have pictures from our last trip to Cozumel.
Summary: My brand-new Lumix took 200 photos in an hour of snorkeling in the ocean, and then it died permanently like quite a few of the other reviewers' Lumixes. I figure that's a little less than $1 a photo, which would have been a normal price in the old film-camera days (it also cost around $3 for Costco's service to rescue the photos from the card). Is it under warantee? Other reviewers don't hold out much hope -- anyway it will be too late for this trip.
Summary: Bought this camera as replacement for Canon D10 which went around the world above and underwater, 1000's of pics and lots of abuse. Just wanted to try a less bulky camera, more mega pix. My enthusiasm lasted a few weeks. After using camera underwater the first time, battery and sd card were wet, camera went on/off by itself and then quit for good.
Summary: I used this camera once and had to return it. I took it into the water on vacation, then took it back to the hotel and soaked it in fresh water and let dry for 24 hours. When I tried to use it the next day everything was foggy. I wasn't expecting professional pictures but I expected it to work more than once.
Worked Great for our trip...then 3 days later won't turn on

Summary: The camera worked awesome for our cruise. We got great video as well as snorkeling pics. I rinsed it with fresh water after the snorkeling. It took awesome pictures and never gave me any trouble. Battery held for a long time as well. 3 days after vacation, I took the camera out to take a picture at home and it wouldn't turn on. I charged up the battery just in case it can inadvertently run down. Put it back in, still nothing. I'm sad because it was a great camera.
Summary: We bought this camera for a cruise we were taking and wanted some underwater shots while snorkeling. The camera took great pictures but after 5 minutes it began to get water into the LCD screen. Slowly we could see water move across the LCD and destroy it. After 10 minutes the camera did not work at all...I guees the good thing was the battery and SIM card stayed dry. Thank you Amazon for having an amazing return policy so I dont get stuck with this.
Stopped working completely after one time underwater!

Summary: ---Update 1/18/2013--- I sent the broken TS20 camera to Panasonic a few weeks back after speaking to a customer service agent and following her instructions (e.g. send all components, case #, and a description of the problem). Today I received from Panasonic a replacement for the TS20 - a refurbished TS4.
Summary: Worked fine for a few weeks, the camera was used mostly in my Intex pool, never in salt water. Pictures taken in bright light were good, but in low light quality dropped off quickly. Unfortunately the camera just died yesterday, 33 days after I bought it and probably about 5-6 times after being dunked in a small above ground pool. The battery door was sealed shut, camera was never dropped yet it was clearly leaking as I could see moisture on the LCD.
