Summary: I never write reviews. I probably should because I purchase a lot of products and for the most part, they perform as advertised. However, I purchased this camera in late August of 2012 to take on a cruise. We used it and enjoyed it for the 2 days that we were doing underwater pictures. We used it a time or two above water during the next 12 months. We took less than 100 pictures and less than 5 minutes of video all total in a year.
Water leaked in 2nd time using it underwater - DON'T BUY!!

Summary: We purchased this camera last summer after reading many, many reviews. We took it to Cozumel last July 2012. We were very happy with the pictures and video this camera took while we were snorkeling. We used the camera out of the water for several months afterwards. We just took the camera back to Cozumel last month, and the first day we used it underwater, water leaked in. We were extremely upset that we do not have pictures from our last trip to Cozumel.
Summary: Bought this camera as replacement for Canon D10 which went around the world above and underwater, 1000's of pics and lots of abuse. Just wanted to try a less bulky camera, more mega pix. My enthusiasm lasted a few weeks. After using camera underwater the first time, battery and sd card were wet, camera went on/off by itself and then quit for good.
Summary: We bought this camera for a cruise we were taking and wanted some underwater shots while snorkeling. The camera took great pictures but after 5 minutes it began to get water into the LCD screen. Slowly we could see water move across the LCD and destroy it. After 10 minutes the camera did not work at all...I guees the good thing was the battery and SIM card stayed dry. Thank you Amazon for having an amazing return policy so I dont get stuck with this.
Stopped working completely after one time underwater!

Summary: ---Update 1/18/2013--- I sent the broken TS20 camera to Panasonic a few weeks back after speaking to a customer service agent and following her instructions (e.g. send all components, case #, and a description of the problem). Today I received from Panasonic a replacement for the TS20 - a refurbished TS4.
Mine lasted 42 days - Panasonic Customer Service was Terrible!

Summary: Pro: Great camera while it lasted, took great looking video, underwater stills, etc. Con: It died after 42 days - I jumped out of a sailboat with the camera in my hand, and when I got back in, there was water in the LCD. I followed the directions for keeping the seals clean and making sure it locked, etc - maybe treading water forced some salt water in through the seals?
Summary: Worked fine for a few weeks, the camera was used mostly in my Intex pool, never in salt water. Pictures taken in bright light were good, but in low light quality dropped off quickly. Unfortunately the camera just died yesterday, 33 days after I bought it and probably about 5-6 times after being dunked in a small above ground pool. The battery door was sealed shut, camera was never dropped yet it was clearly leaking as I could see moisture on the LCD.
Summary: I purchased this camera explicitly for it's underwater capabilities, as I have a more expensive camera for regular use. I took it on a recent vacation to Mexico and began using it on the day we went to Xcaret, where we would be swimming, snorkeling, etc. I took a few land pictures and all seemed fine. Then we went into the water and after only taking 5-6 pictures, the LED screen went white and would no longer function.
Summary: Used the camera for a week on land, and worked as expected. Then took it on a cruise, where on the second day of water use (less than 2 hours total beach time), the shutter and menu buttons stopped responding. Unable to take any pictures, I noticed water vapor behind the lens. Upon return to our cabin, I waited until the exterior had time to air dry, opened the battery door, and discovered water on both the battery and memory card.
Summary: Received the package quickly and well packaged; Amazon ROCKS! Opened it up, charged the battery, read the directions, put the battery in, and tried to turn it on. Error. Wouldn't even turn on. Looked in the user manual to see if there was anything about this error. Nothing. Checked with customer service and it would need shipped in for service... before it was ever used.
