Summary: I have owned two Panasonic Lumix cameras. The first one developed black spots on the screen. After returning for repair for the same problem three times, and more than 5 total hours on hold and talking with worthless customer service representatives, they finally replaced it.
Summary: I bought this camera as a replacement for my much loved DMC-FH20 when it suffered a scrached lens. I thought with the higher resolution, more powerful optical zoom, and Leica lens this would be an worthy sucessor. Boy was I ever wrong.
Summary: I ordered a camera from them and it quickly had a system error and would not function. They sent a refurbished one, same error, and a another refurb, same error. Basically just sent junk refurbished items until it was out of warranty.
Summary: Terrible camera. I purchased this camera based on the reviews given on Amazon. It seemed to have alot of positive reviews, so I went forward and purchased the item. I have owned a Panasonic lumix point and shoot, for many years now, and decided to upgrade.
Summary: Sent this back after my first time out with it,bad screen hard to see what you are taking a picture of,plastic body and just a overall bad camera, the only neat thing was the art work button, I don't think this camera is worth the price!
Summary: While a new model this is not an update to the SZ1. Price points be what price points are Panasonic cheapened this model line to meet the new price point. Out of the box the rear lcd was bad. Had shadows. Hard to explain but looked sorta like plasma TV screen burn in.
