Summary: Back when I ordered this product for a few customers it was top of the line, other image stabilized zoom cameras with 7.2MP or better were too expensive to afford, so this was a great inexpensive option. A couple years later I went to a birthday party and my customer loaned me the same camera to take photos and videos, they all came out great, very little photoshop was needed to adjust the contrast, etc for printing.
Pros: Camera nails the expose in iAuto almost 100% of the time. Manual expose with 60sec shutter makes for amazing night shots. My shots fooled the camera store clerk thinking I had taken them with a DSLR... no, just a 75.00 P&S !
Cons: At the long end of the 5x zoom, imaged can look soft. Hit or miss. Adding extra sharp in Picasa fixes the issue. DUST ! This camera seems to be prone to dust on the sensor even though it's a sealed unit?
Summary: This is the best camera for the money. Panasonic teaming up with Leica...what an awesome, awesome camera. I can't say enough good things about it. Everyone always asks what camera I'm using because the pictures are outstanding. I'm discovering the biggest downfall - I keep breaking the lens. When it hibernates, the lens retracts.
Summary: Buena camara, cumple con lo que dice, pero de verdad le falta algo mejor en las fotos para tener las 5 estrellas, es un producto calidad, consume mucha bateria, pero no es un problema para un producto de buena calidad.
This Panasonic camera is the most user friendly and has the best overall quality. The best BANG for my Buck!

Summary: Of all the cameras I have tried, the Panasonic Lumix LZ8S is by far the best. You get high quality photos with ease of use. The zoom feature makes wildlife photography much easier. The video feature is not grainy like some of the competitors. The large screen and face recognition make taking the perfect shot a piece of cake. I also have found that the camera interfaces well with my computer software and makes any touchup a breeze.
Summary: I purchased this camera from J&R about a couple of years ago. First, some info about myself. I am an amateur photographer and have been using digital camera for 7-8 years now. I have been using Digital SLR Camera for over 5 years and am pretty well versed with concepts of aperture and lighting. Although I had a DSLR with me, I was looking for a small and portable point and shoot camera that I could take with me to office or other places in my trouser pockets.
Summary: I was looking for a balance between Photo quality and better zoom than regular 3X. It works very good. It's a little bit big compared with newer models but has work fine for me for over a year.
Summary: This review is really not going to say anything that has not already been said about this camera - Panasonic has scored with this line with siblings of the ZS3 now in the market. My wife and I have clicked some fantastic shots with this camera, it has an excellent processor, no shutter delay, fast write speeds to the SD card, neat features, amazingly easy to use, well calibrated zoom control, huge LCD screen, excellent battery life, well balanced for one hand use even...
Summary: Bought this camera for christmas and it worked reasonably well. But it takes a long time between shots, the picture quality is not a good as my older 3mp panasonic, and this camera feels cheaply built. It is way too light. After 5 months an error message message appeared when you turned it on, I figured out is was because the lens was not extending fully. With some pulling and wiggling I got it to work again. Now it won't work at all.
