Summary: This review is really not going to say anything that has not already been said about this camera - Panasonic has scored with this line with siblings of the ZS3 now in the market. My wife and I have clicked some fantastic shots with this camera, it has an excellent processor, no shutter delay, fast write speeds to the SD card, neat features, amazingly easy to use, well calibrated zoom control, huge LCD screen, excellent battery life, well balanced for one hand use even...
Summary: Although this camera is somewhat dated, I decided to get it on the strength of previous reviews. It takes great pictures and a plus for me is the ergodynamics which allow me to hold it firmly in spite of having rather large hands. It fires up pretty quickly and the LCD is clear, even on a bright day. It has a nice range of options and the different settings are quickly adjusted.
Summary: It was at first an OK camera for the price, BUT the screen cracked spontaneously after less than 6 weeks of light use, and neither the seller nor Panasonic would repair, replace or refund it. I searched on line, and found picture after picture of similar cracks on various lower end Lumix cameras, typically starting from the lower half of the right edge of the screen.
Summary: Bought this camera to replace an older Panasonic model. The actual resolution is better than that of the newer, more expensive models (read more megapixels & zoom) which seem to have added noise (graininess). Would recommend this model for a small, light point and shoot. Shutter lag is not bad if you use a good brand class 6 SDHC card. The read and write speeds of lower (2 & 4) class and plain SD cards is just not sufficient for high megapixel cameras.
Summary: As the title states I'm no expert with digital cameras. I've owned 2 in my life, both point and shoot. This camera takes great pictures, and the features are fantastic! I love the image stabilization feature. Helps a great deal, especially in the cold winter and being outside at times. The battery life is above average but not amazing. Low light pictures are great and there is not much pixelization. My only issue is that the time between pictures seems very long.
Summary: This camera is a great adjunct to my Nikon DSLR. In fact, I think I use it more since I can put it in a bag for easy portability. It is easy to use. The picture quality is very good with the Leica lens. I compared many small cameras and read many reviews and spoke with many people, including a couple of professional photographers who's spouses have the Lumix. The photographers were very impressed. Go buy it, you'll love it!
Summary: I'm glad i bought this digital camera and i went on reviews. It takes very nice pictures and has alot of options. Very light weight and easy to carry around. I was kinda nervous about buying such a cheap camera because i thought i was going to get what i paid for and so far so good. Really like it. I would recommend this digital camera to anyone that's looking for an inexpensive camera. It was well worth the price and more!!!!
Summary: This ultra compact digital camera has nothing to envy to other more complex and bigger devices with similar configuration. Its portability and wide performance make it a perfect partner to record casual and more important events, in an easier and discret way. Its stabilized zoom give a great chance to take perfect pictures, since the very first time that you use it. I love it.
