Panasonic LUMIX DMC-LZ7 7.2 MP Digital Camera - Best Point-and-Shoot Camera
9 April 2013
Summary: Great camera, and I'm not just saying that. Truly a great camera. I take A LOT of pictures, inside/outside, great light/bad light, you name it, and used to think Sony was the only way to go, but this is my second Panasonic Camera, and I will never switch back from Panasonic. This camera has a very nice mix of being a no-brainer "Easy Shot, Point-and-Shoot" while still giving you the option of having more control over your photography if you want it.
Summary: I have this camera since 2007 (6 years) and works perfect! The quality is good for a point and shoot camera. I am not a photographer, so I used it on birthdays, vacations, partys and for me is enough. Easy to use. Deserved 5 stars, considering the 6 years old of it!
Summary: After buying 2 Sony digital cameras that malfunctioned within months, I decided to try Panasonic digital cameras and was highly pleased with this one. Images and colors as crisp and well focused. Definitely very satisfied!
Excerpt: I received this camera as a gift. I have enjoyed it. It is easy to use... easy to set up... and takes great pictures. I have used it at birthday parties, weddings, outdoor scenes, etc... I would recomment this camera to anyone who likes to take pictures but not into the professional side of picture taking.
The Panasonic-Lumix DMC-LZ7 is a great all around camera.

Excerpt: The Panasonic-Lumix DMC-LZ7 is a great digital camera for beginners and advanced photograpers alike. This camera not only shoots color pictures but black & white and sepia toned photographs as well. It can be a little intimidating at first unless you just want to point and shoot. It has a little dial with different pictures to help you make your best selection when taking a picture.
Excerpt: I received this camera as a Christmas present and could not be more pleased with it. I have dropped it several times in snow, water, on rocks, etc and it still works! There are chips on the casing, but it works very well still. It can zoom up to 36x, which is the most I have ever seen out of a $125 camera. The pictures it takes are excellent. I am using it for my photography class at university and it is perfect.
Good camera - good battery life, Excellent Product

Excerpt: Good fetchers for the price, 7.2 Mega Pixel 6x Optical zoom. Works with most SD cards. The unit has a nice 2.5 inch display. I don't like the proprietary connecter that is required to connect the unit to my PC and my TV. Also the warranty on the unit is only 3 months. Other wise this is a great unit.
Decent, good for a first-time digital camera owner, a tad slow.

Excerpt: I got my digital camera last Christmas from my mom and was a little bit disappointed at first, because it wasn't what I asked for. I'm personally a fan of small cameras that don't have the lump sticking out for extra grip, but some people like that, just for a little security when you're worried about dropping it. I also thought that it takes the picture a little bit slowly.
Excerpt: The Panasonic DMC-LZ7 is a GREAT camera. A few features that I think are most important is that it uses AA batteries--either rechargeables or single-use. That is MUCH cheaper than the lithium rectangular batteries that many of the compact cameras use. And the AA batteries, even rechargeables, last a long time--up to 200-300 shots, even using fill-in flash most of the time. Another feature is the 2.5" LCD screen.
