Good product and well balanced with the price.

  • Excerpt: I was looking for a value for money digital camera, and the Panasonic Lumix DMC-LZ1 was the best value. At a lower price compared to some other brands, it is packed with a useful 6 x zoom and OIS to combat hand shakes. The quality of the photos is fine for the price range. It's only the lack of controls that may turn some people off. The flash is good for such a small package.

  • Excerpt: "The features are very good for the price. I have run it with two other cameras I own, a Canon Z50 and a Minolta D50 for comparison purposes. It beats the Canon for sharpness and macro, and is comparable to the Minolta. The battery life appears to be good on MH batteries, but initially I had problems, as the monitor shut down. Leading me to think that the batteries were not charged, touching the release immediately brought the view back. Programming ...
