Summary: The Panasonic DMC-GM1 fitted with the collapsible 12-32mm lens is a really small camera that is capable of taking professional quality photographs in almost all lighting conditions. With the lens fully retracted, the camera is really not much larger than a compact point and shoot. Proof of this; I sold my LX-5 after I bought this camera and I was able to re-use the LX5 camera case.

Summary: I have a Nikon system camera. When my first child was born; my wife wanted to take more pictures but thought my DSLR was too heavy. I bought her an M43 camera. While some will say that the image quality of M43 is not as good as a full frame DSLR; the form factor can't be beat. It's faster and easier to use than most cell phone cameras (although granted; the cell phone is almost always with you argument) the image quality is MUCH better than cell phones.

Summary: The Panasonic Lumix DMC-GM1 is the smallest interchangeable lens digital camera you can buy. It's not as full-featured as some other models, but you can't argue with its size or performance. Pros: Very small. Crisp touch-screen LCD. Hinged flash. Snappy performer. 5fps continuous shooting. Clean images through ISO 1600. 1/16,000-second electronic shutter. Sharp, compact kit lens. Raw shooting support. Wi-Fi. Cons: Fixed screen with no EVF option.
Summary: This is a complement to my Olympus OM-D. It's mostly used for when I am out and about with my baby - either with the included pancake zoom or the Olympus 25mm 1.8 prime, it fits in a jacket packet, a diaper bag, or a backpack. I can capture images that would either not get captured at all because I wouldn't bring a real camera, or that would end up grainy iPhone disasters.
Summary: Best small form factor micro 4/3 camera on the market. Very high quality video and stills......just be sure to note there's no viewfinder, you must use the lcd to compose your shots....otherwise this camera produces very high quality images.
Summary: I bought this camera last fall as a fun every day camera when I didn't want to carry my DSLR around. After receiving it in the mail, I played with it for a few days and really loved it. About a month later, I went on a trip and sadly, it did not work at all. Something was wrong with the image sensor - I could view photos I had already taken with it just fine, but when I tried to take new photos or video, it came out discolored and fuzzy, with wavy lines through...
