Summary: I purchased a Panasonic Lumix GH1K from Amazon through Angel Seller last May. I live in California and Angel Seller is in Brooklyn, NY. The camera with the 14 to 140mm zoom lens cost over $1370. It was my first experience with an HD capable camera. Its User Manual is almost 200 pages long, so there is a steep learning curve. The HD video seemed to record fine when viewed from the camera's LCD screen. I did not have time to edit my work for several months.
Summary: The camera I got had bad vertical lines through it's sensor image. If you search for "GH1 vertical lines", there are many post about this. Mine had it and my friends' had it too, we both sent them back. Unfortunate, we both had high hopes for it's potential. Low light, daylight, all iso settings, it was there, and it seems others have had it too. Not trying to be negative, I even tried to, as some suggested, "burn it in", but it did not go away.
