  • Summary: I have been using it for almost 3 years. It looks more vintage than newer edition. The pictures quality is great. I think it adjusts people's skin tone and let your face looks better in pictures. Love it.

This 14mm f2.5 lens comes with a bonus: A FREE CAMERA (that's actually a joy to use)

Jazz Hound, Amazon
17 July 2014
  • Summary: First, let me put my purchase in perspective: I wasn't even looking to buy the GF2, however, this kit was the most affordable way for me to acquire the 14mm f2.5 lens (and the only way I knew of to acquire that lens in solid matte black as opposed to the usual two-tone black/gray). While I'm pleased enough with my new lens, I'm utterly blown away by the GF2. This camera reviewed average (at best) when it was released nearly four years ago (in 2010).

Panasonic Lumix DMC-GF2K Camera Body

Percy, Amazon
16 June 2014
  • Summary: So far, the Lumix is meeting my expectations. I had a Panasonic Lumix DMC-GF2 Camera and the LCD screen went black. I sent it in for repair. Even though the LCD part was replaced, there is still a 10 - 30 second wait for the screen to light up when the camera is turned on. Extremely frustrating when one wants instant on and wants to take pictures. A lot of money was invested in this product with the purchase of lenses and such.

DO NOT BUY- Major Battery Leakage and Photos Always Blurry!!!

molu, Amazon
24 April 2014
  • Summary: I wanted to get a "more than just a point and shoot" camera to capture the precious moments of my first baby. Husband and I are not photographers and have never used anything other than a point and shoot cameras (various Canons Elphs and Casio Exlims) so we found the huge SLRs really intimidating and couldn't imagine carrying them around with ease.

Major battery power leakage - battery was dead in 2 days during which camera was off

Mikhail Turilin, Amazon
13 January 2014
  • Summary: I had this camera for 6 month and end up selling it on the Craigslist. The performance was fine but the camera had a major battery power leakage - fully changed battery was dead in 2 days when camera was switched off. I called to Panasonic service department and after 30 minutes waiting on the line they told me, that is not a bug, it's as it supposed to be. They recommended me to take out the battery EVERY TIME I finish shooting.

Great little camera

D. Yost, Amazon
28 December 2013
  • Summary: I use this camera in situations where it's not practical to bring my full sized SLR. It's decent in low light, but not as good as a full sized SLR. The small size allows you to put it in a small bag comparable to a point and shoot. This model actually has a flash hotshoe, something that is missing from the GF3 model. It doesn't have the ability to talk to my Canon flashes besides telling it to fire.

  • Summary: Camera arrived in great shape, charged up and ready to go. I highly recommend this seller. The GF2 is a steal if you can get it under a hundred bucks.

Timeless Classic - Fun, friendly, light and easy to use, great pictures

Joseph L. Defrancisci, Amazon
5 May 2013
  • Summary: The touch screen interface on this camera is the best I've seen so far. It's very easy and intuitive to find any setting, and to find the best choice for the situation. Pictures are crystal clear especially outdoors and indoors with flash. One little-mentioned gem is the dedicated iA (intelligent auto) button, meaning you can create a highly customized setting and easily toggle between fully automatic and your specialized setting, making this a delight to use and get the...

GF2

Con Sumer, Amazon
27 April 2013
  • Summary: I won't go into pro's and con's after two years of use. Plenty of info posted by pros on the web. Built quality is good. So far no issues. Its a tool. It gets the job done. I have other tools for different situations. When i need better quality i use GF2 and my set of lenses. Its not perfect, not my dream camera. But i'm not upgrading every six months because Panasonic makes one. End result will not be a huge improvement worth upgrading, even compared to APSC.
