  • Excerpt: I am new to the mirrors systems, and I am still getting used to it. I noticed there is a slight lag when taking photos from what you see on the LCD to real-time display compared to a DSLR. But overall, the quality of the photos that come out of the G2 is excellent.

Dennis Friedman, Amazon

  • Summary: This is a nice camera, there are two things I which were different, that you could run it on AC, and when you are doing a video and zooming the lens, you can hear that noise when watching the video. Thank you

Wires "Jordan", Amazon
9 May 2012
  • Summary: This camera is really nice. The features make it stand out, even small things such as the movable screen. The pictures come out great using the iA function, keep in mind this camera needs alot of light to work well because the higher iso settings dont come out the best.

Great Camera for the price

Joshua Samuelson, Amazon
12 July 2011
  • Summary: The Good: I'm very pleased with this camera. It's really easy to use and takes great photos. I usually shoot in full manual or aperture priority mode, which are pretty simple to control. The one feature that really surprised me was the intelligent auto mode.

beautiful, yet complex camera

ABIK, Amazon
24 June 2011
  • Summary: Mixed feelings on this camera. I love the look, and feel of it. I wanted a step up from my point-and-shoot, and I had a canon rebel for a short time. I could not get over the size and weight of a traditional DSLR. They are huge, bulky, and heavy.

MP Burke, DP Review
30 May 2011
  • Excerpt: One year ago one of the reasons for choosing the Panasonic G2 was that the range of available lenses was better than that for Sony NEX or Samsung NX cameras. The micro four thirds lens range currently covers 35 mm equivalent focal lengths from 14 to 600mm and contains macro and fisheye lenses and as...

Great versatile camera

Java Dude "lensman", Amazon
17 April 2011
  • Summary: I use the G2 for general still photography and almost never for video. I also own the G1 and GF1. The G2 addresses the major ergonomic problem I have with the G1 -- the placement of the horizontal dial on the front of the camera, near the shutter.
