The Panasonic Lumix DMC-G2 is a Micro Four Thirds digital camera that supports touch-screen operation, allowing users to view their images via the thumbnail view, drag photos across the screen to browse as though flipping the pages of a book, lock onto a subject and track the subject as it moves within the frame and select the part and the size of AF area with the 1-area AF with one touch. When using the manual focus, users can enlarge a subject by touching it and then choosing to enlarge it by 1x, 5x or 10x. The LUMIX G2 also supports 1280 x 720 HD video recording in the AVCHD Lite format; advanced audio options with sound bring recorded with Dolby Digital Creator, Wind Cut function which reduce noise caused from background wind; a 3.0-inch LCD screen with wide-viewing angle that can be rotated 180° from side to side and tilted 270° up and down; double Live-View function that provides users with high-resolution, 460,000-dot free-angle Intelligent LCD and 1,440,000-dot 1.4x (0.7x) Live View Finder that lets users to see the settings’ results before pressing the shutter. The Panasonic Lumix DMC-G2 is powered by a 12.1-megapixel Live MOS sensor with technology that enables it to read four channels of data simultaneously. The sensor is supported by the Venus Engine HD II, which supports the new image processing technology Intelligent Resolution. Intelligent Resolution enables the recording of photo and HD video with high quality signal processing. Outlines, detailed texture areas and soft gradation are automatically detected and enhanced to give edges optimized clarity, while simultaneously giving a moderate accentuation to the textured areas so they look detailed. The LUMIX G2 also features iA (Intelligent Auto), which automatically engages features and settings for optimal image quality by detecting the shooting environment; Dust Reduction System which eliminate dust clinging onto the sensor by placing a supersonic wave filter which vibrates vertically around 50,000 times per second, thus repelling dust and other particles; PHOTOfunSTUDIO 5.0 HD Edition software that helps users sort and organize photos; direct upload to YouTube using the built-in YouTube uploader; and the ability to create a 360-degree rotation panorama file in .MOV files. The camera is come equipped with the LUMIX G VARIO 14-42mm/F3.5-5.6 ASPH/MEGA O.I.S. lens. It is available in red, blue and black color options.

I am trying to shoot a photo of an enlarge up close object with manual focus, using tripod, preset flower upclose present button. The object enlarges but when I depress the shutter button, it returns to the unenlarged image and does not take the desire photo of the enlarged image. How can I capture/shoot a still phote of an enlarged object with manual focus?
