Great Ultra Zoom Bridge Camera

Summary: This is well worth the money as long as you keep your expectations in check. 1) Image quality. In good light conditions with this camera it is easy to produce great images. In lower light conditions, the small sensor will require you to work harder. On longer zooms, you will work very hard to maintain good focus and good pictures especially above 900mm (35m equivalent) but images are good enough up to 60x with a solid tripod, they tend to diminish with intelligent zoom...
Summary: This is the best purchase I've made on Amazon. Amazing Camera, wonderful quality photos, easy to use. I will admit I am an amateur but it's easy to produce amazing results and learn more about photography with a Camera like this. The 20mm lens means my landscape photos have been amazing and whilst it isn't brilliant in low-light, it isn't shabby by any means and the optical zoom and wealth of options on the camera make up for anything this camera might appear to lack.
Summary: People will buy this camera for TWO reason only the ZOOM ability and ULTRA WIDE ability so I assume most people will just want to read about them so: 1) ZOOM - is exceptional, no obvious distortion and the stabilizer keeps the image pretty shake free. 2) ULTRA WIDE angle is as it says much wider than a standard lens and wider than most.
Good camera but disappointing lack of key features

Summary: This is a nice camera, and I love it. It feels and looks great, takes great pictures and is packed with features like the ability to sleect aperture priority or chutter priority as well as full auto programme mode and a host of otrher shooting modes. The camcorder mode is pretty good too and the 60x optical zoom is mint.
Quite good, huge versatile range, but a few drawbacks

Summary: I was quite keen to try the FZ72 after using quite a few big zoom models recently. It's a decent camera in many ways, the main appeal is the massive zoom range which is one of the biggest out there to date, but beyond that the 20mm super wide angle is unique among bridge models (most are 24-28mm at the wide end) The camera is quite well featured with your usual abundance of Panasonic modes and decent quality HD video As well as having raw which is welcomed on all models...
Summary: This is a fantastic quality camera. I required a camera with very high optical zoom and as far as I am aware this is the most powerful on the market. Even at full zoom I have achieved some excellent quality photographs.
I had a FZ45 and it was great, the FZ72 is even better !

Summary: I just loved my FZ45- it was a great bridge camera. I started off using it as a "point and shoot" on auto, and quickly moved onto fully manual operation as the camera design made it so easy. It took some amazing images. I sold it on as I was looking for a bridge camera with a further telephoto reach ie.. The FZ72. The FZ72 is a newer version of the FZ45 but with better optics and more functions. I thought the FZ45 was great, but this is just amazing.
