Excerpt: I have many years of working with 35mm equipment so I have a lot to learn in working with digital. So far, I'm very impressed by the DMC-FZ70. The camera seems to be very sturdy and well made and the various features are easy to use. I'm glad I made the decision to go with this camera!
Pros: Easy To Use, Good Image Quality, Great Zoom, Small / Compact
Excerpt: This camera is like no other and it was definitely on the affordable side. I have always had Lumix cameras because they are the best. The Leica lenses make all the difference. This camera takes a little bit of time to get used to it because it is very sophisticated but once you've learned everything this camera can do you will not be able to stop taking picture. It's simply amazing...and the zoom...one of the best that I have seen so far.
Pros: Easy To Use, Fast/accurate auto-focus, Good Image Quality, Good Image Stabilization, Good in Low Light, Great Zoom
Excerpt: I am basically a point and shoot type, but I intend to explore more features of this camera as the summer unfolds! The few instances I have had to appreciate this camera in action have been amazing!! I have no doubt that I made a wise decision to buy this camera, and to buy from B&H. I have called them with a couple of questions that I couldn't resolve, and they walked me through them quickly and professionally.
Pros: Easy To Use, Fast/accurate auto-focus, Good Image Quality, Good Image Stabilization, Great Zoom
Excerpt: A young red tailed hawk perched on a nearby roof in my neighborhood. I had never seen such a thing. I got my Lumix DMC-FZ70 which has lens that extends from 20mm to 1200mm and has image stabilization and I was able to get about 20 sharp as a tack shots of the bird.
Pros: Easy To Use, Fast/accurate auto-focus, Good Image Quality, Good Image Stabilization, Great Zoom, Large Clear LCD, Nice Body Color, Short Lag Time, Small / Compact
Excerpt: I am so pleased with my new DMC-FZ70. Having a much older version - the DMC-LZ2 - I was aware of the excellent quality of these Panasonic cameras. I design jewelry and use this camera almost every day to shoot my new work for my website and marketing pieces. Adjusting to shooting in RAW has been a process, but I'm quickly learning what I need to do to make my work really pop off the page. I'd definitely recommend it to a friend.
Pros: Fast/accurate auto-focus, Good Image Quality, Good Image Stabilization, Good in Low Light, Great Zoom, Large Clear LCD, Nice Body Color
Summary: This camera really works well. Great pictures, amazing zoom and works great in low light. It's really good for beginners. The reason i got this camera was that I needed something with great zoom and quality since I frequent concerts and baseball games. I've been impressed with the images i have gotten in both events.
