Excerpt: I've owned numerous cameras, both film and digital. I've also owned several cameras with digital OIS including an FZ5, FZ20 and two FZ7's. Over the last year the Panasonic Lumix DMC FZ7s have become my cameras of choice. Yes, they are light weight, but not toys at all.
Summary: Loved this camera to death. Used it almost every day. Only thing I hated was that you could not zoom nor autofocus in video mode. Doesn't matter anyways cause if I wanted those features I would have bought a video camera.
Summary: I recommend this camera to anyone who needs a good quality camera for documenting their world. It is so easy to use. I was surprised how light weight it is and versatile. I carry it with me every where I go. It enables me to take great photos quickly and do video clips. I love this camera.
Summary: Though light in weight this camera takes great pictures. Since purchase I have been able to test some of its many automatic and manual functions; and so far I have been pleased to say all work as described.
Summary: At first I thought I had just wasted my money. Every picture I took with the zoon or without, was blurred. I was getting really frustrated. Fortunately, I have another camera, a canon, that I decided to use for a control.
Summary: Still need to get to know this camera a little better, but am very happy with it's purchase. The DMC-FZ7S was a step up from the 4 1/2 yr old Fugi Finepix we had. Our main problem with the Fuji was shutter lag and way too many pictures were blurred by the simple action of my husband's large hands...
Summary: I am not a photographer by any stretch of the imagination. I am a camera enthusiast, and I like gadgets as much as the next girl (okay, unhealthily more than the next girl), but I really don't know an F-Stop from a hole in the wall.
