Awesome camera!

16 January 2013
  • Summary: I love the features that come with this camera. Do be wary that the cord that connects it to the computer can break. Fortunately I had extra cords the same size, and it loads the pictures and accesses the camera from the computer perfectly.

I love this camera

Matthew Parker "I'm Batman", Amazon
27 December 2010
  • Summary: We replaced a Canon camera with similar mega pixel and zoom capabilities with this Panasonic. It simply blows the Canon away in quality pictures. It handles movement, low light, and zooming amazingly well versus the Canon. It also records video in HD which is a very nice feature now.

Great camera for most amateur photographers

wogan, Amazon
26 May 2010
  • Summary: I've taken pictures for many years, beginning with a 1940's 35mm Argus where you had to set the lighting, focus and everything else, a professional zoom Nikon, right up to a point and shoot simple digital and this camera is such a good choice, you can adjust it to do most anything, but in trying to...

User Review

Tyrone Beulah, Photography Review
21 February 2010
  • Summary: Best camera for a first time DSLR user out of the box. Auto mode setting and features provide very good pictures and allow room for experimentation.
  • Pros: Night photos, Clear Snap shots., Excellent video
  • Cons: AF beam located in a bad spot and can be blocked while holding camera at base of lens, Under some lighting situations you have to fight some of the auto features., Photos other than night shots not as clear as Nicon or Canon in the same price range., Focus is awkward in video mode, Hard to find r...

Great for sports photos

  • Summary: I purchased this camera to replace an old Sony. I needed one with a good zoom and that could take good, clear shots of my son's varsity soccer games. This one definitely delivers.

Terrific

David W. McIlvaine, Amazon
6 July 2009
  • Summary: I bought this because my son (and also my daughter) both have a Lumix bought two years ago. This Lumix has many more features at about the same price as two years ago. The pictures are fabulous and compare well to my Nikon 35mm SLR. Easy to use and there is a rich feature set.

The perfect camera!

Robert Scott Neth "Photo freak", Amazon
5 July 2009
  • Summary: What a camera! This is the first digital camera I've owned, and after being a long-time film camera user, I wanted to make sure that whichever digital camera I bought would shoot pictures at a quality level that was as good as the premium slide film I was using, without breaking my bank account.
