I bought it twice, so that says it all.

Summary: Great camera. I had this model before, but a drop caused the on/off switch to break, and rendered the camera useless. I had that one for three years, never had a case on it. It had gotten wet, been dropped, you name it, but even its plastic body endured. It was such a great camera that when I saw the same model for cheap on ebay, I decided not to continue researching a newer model.
This is a great entry level camera for the novice that wants something more

Summary: I was told about the quality of the pictures that this camera took from a friend. When I noticed the higher resale value I knew it was something special. I found one selling for the price I wanted, bought it, and I have not been dissapointed. It is a good entry level camera for someone who wants something more that the typical point and shoot.
Summary: Extremely low weight for a mega-zoom. Sharp lens with vibrant colors. ISO 400 is well detailed,800 and 1600 need tweaking. Extremely sharp details at low ISO. Zoom is well stabilized. Flash is strongly powered. Handy ergonomics. Not the best but better choice a mega-zoom in such a low price range.
Summary: Great camera. This little guy will do almost everything a DSLR can do in a compact size. Optical zoom is 18x and if you include the digital zoom for far away landscapes you get 72x zoom. Great lens, easy operation, and every function at your fingertips. To save battery life, use viewfinder instead of lcd for taking pics. If you are looking for a great compact camera that has everything, this one is it.
Summary: Nice zoom excellent design 18x optical zoom quick menu i used to have this camera and couldnt give up,bought again i have also standard 8.1 mp 10x zoom model lumix and panasonic(japan) correct choice

Summary: This is a great small camera whos 18x magnification and very fast lense change spoils the normal amateur photographer, great pictures with camera settings automatic. Easy to set and use getting consistent vibration free shots. I take a lot of outdoor scenes using the pre sets and a-1 settings. both are great, but i'd give the scene a slight edge. location of buttons and switches very convenient. I am a one handed--right-- shooter and find every thing convenient.
Summary: Bought this camera because I wanted to have something with a zoom, so I could zoom into take pictures of the humming birds at my feeder. Being a novice to photography, I decided I should start out with a bridge camera. I studied the reviews of cameras and found that the panasonic dmc-fz ranked high on the scale. The reviewers seem to like the fz-35 better then the newest fz-40 and the people who had the fz-28's seem to like theres better.
Summary: Pros: almost everything. This camera takes fantastic, quality photos-it has to with a Leica lens. It's also made in Japan, not China. I love it and would buy it again in a heart beat. It's the perfect balance; RAW or JPEG (or both), 18X zoom, 10 MP (any more is a waste of time unless you're going to make huge posters)THE BATTERIES SEEM TO LAST FOREVER, not like many cameras that eat them.
