Summary: I love the features that come with this camera. Do be wary that the cord that connects it to the computer can break. Fortunately I had extra cords the same size, and it loads the pictures and accesses the camera from the computer perfectly.
Summary: Very good camera. Takes beautiful pictures. Lots of features for a creative user. Deserves 5 stars, but for detailed settings procedures difficult to remember. But, one can use Intelligent Auto Mode to take very good pictures without referring to the manual at all. Used it for a year.
Summary: We replaced a Canon camera with similar mega pixel and zoom capabilities with this Panasonic. It simply blows the Canon away in quality pictures. It handles movement, low light, and zooming amazingly well versus the Canon. It also records video in HD which is a very nice feature now.

Summary: I bought a Panasonic fz18 last year and finally returned it and waited its upgrade. I bought fz28 from Amazon a week ago. I must say Panasonic fz28 is a great upgrade. 1 I can change the zoom when using video function, fz18 cannot.
