Fast apeture thru-out the zoom range gives blurr free results in difficult
2 April 2013
Summary: I bought this for the lens. Most digital cameras with zoom lens have a much slower aperture (5.6!) at the highest zoom. This camera stays at 2.8 thru-out the zoom range. 5 MP may be low by today's standards, but a 16 MP blurry picture is useless.
Summary: worked as expected. familiar with camera friend has one. great action shots. still figuring out all settings, looking forward to using camera on 14 day trip to Turkey. lightweight is a big advantage.
Summary: I purchased this camera for my wife in 2005 and I don't know how many thousands of pictures have been taken with it. The photo quality of this 5.0 MP camera is far better than the much higher resolution point and shoot (plastic lense) cameras that I have owned or used.

Summary: I thank the camera/ is great> the S D card was> Bad in it' but over all it is good? sammons3? I thank the camera good have been better> And i had to spend> money for a new card?> But overall it's O' K'>?
Summary: I wrote an earlier review on the FZ 20 which ran for a couple of days and was pulled. Why?. I suspect it was because I contrasted it to the Panasonic FZ7 and the Panasonic FZ18 and chose the 20 for several stated reasons which I will not repeat here.
Summary: Great big, whopping, sharp lens. Adequate flexibility in controls. Hotshoe is helpful but demands vari-power flash with low trigger voltage. Not just anything will do. Excellent color quality. Limited ISO's but OIS (stabilization) work fine. Nice pics so far.

Summary: Hi, i bought this camera on January 2006 and till now this camera is still looks and performs like new. I am still using original battery and it lasts for more than 200 shots per charge after 4.5 years of usage!
Summary: Purchased as back up to same model. Original showing signs of wear and with all the gear I have for it, if it fails ... I'd have to start from scratch! Besides, I love this camera. And now it's possible to carry two configurations.
Summary: I've only had the camera for a few weeks now - but I simply love it. It is very easy to use, and most important, takes excellent photos right from the start. Now, I know very little about exposure, lighting, whatever - and I haven't really played with many of the settings - but I was able to zoom in...
Summary: I've tried Nikon DSLRs, upgraded Lumix FZ30s and FZ50s and except for the bells and whistles and ergonomic features, I have continued to migrate back to the FZ20s. Once it's set up, I can shoot and go for months without making any changes to it. I know what to do when I get odd colorings, etc.
