Excerpt: I absolutely love the Panasonic Lumix digital camera. I have never in my life seen a camera produce such professional quality pictures. I have used my Lumix in just about every light condition possible, even in the rain! Its amazing clarity will leave you wanting to take more and more pictures. The Panasonic Lumix DMC-LC40 is an amazing little piece of equipment. It offers a 3.0 mega pixel picture quality and even a 30 second video capture capability with sound.
Excerpt: I've had the FZ18 for a few weeks now and am loving it more each day. It's easy to use, creates fantastic photos in decent light, and is small and light enough that it doesn't bother me when I carry it around my neck for hours. The camera has features for everyone from the beginner to the enthusiast. Put it in "Intelligent Auto" mode and click away without another thought, or put it in Aperture Priority, Shutter Priority or full manual mode for more control.

Excerpt: The Panasonic DMC-FZ18 is my third Panasonic diital camera. I also own a DMC-FZ3, and a Panasonic DMC-LZ7. The zoom lens can take the picture from 35mm to 18X enlargement smoothly to facilitate framing a distant shot, while the constant autofocus allows the photographer to quickly zoom and shoot. You need...

Summary: This is a great camera!! I love the picture quality and you cannot beat the value. I am very "directionally challenged" but the instruction booklet is very clear and it is very light weight and therefore easy to carry.
