  • Summary: Nice, compact, fairly easy to master (without directions....I never read them). Wish I had a bit more zoom. I would reccommend the model to any demanding but snapshot photographer.

  • Summary: Pros: Auto scene mode. A good variety of scene selections. Wide angle lens. Takes very decent pictures indoors and out. 1080i HD video. (NOT true HD 1080p though, but better than 640x480 most other compact cameras have for sure!) Compact size, 2x as thick as an iPhone, but 3/4" shorter & 1/2" narrower! Cons: Can only take video up to a certain size at a time, no matter how big your memory card is. (eg.

  • Summary: I bought this camera to replace a Megxon that I bought last year. The Megxon was 10 megapixal, but had no stablization and never did take good pictures, so when the charger quit I decided to just get another camera. I love this camera. It is small and balanced, so it is easy to hold and use. The pictures are just great! I got memory cards and all of the cords and a carrying case. The price was great and the shipping ws phenomenal.

Excellent Ultra-compact camera

cme4brain, Ebay

  • Summary: I have purchased this camera to replace my Pentax Optio S5i (see my review). The smaller the camera, the more chance you will take it with you, and despite being an advanced amateur photographer, 97% of my family pix are taken with compact cameras. LIKES: This Panasonic is a real standout from the usual with its 25mm ultra-angle lens, lens-based vibration reduction, and its intelligent auto mode.

This is a nifty pocket digital and the price was great

  • Summary: I'd had a similar Panasonic before and I know these are good cameras. My only negative comment is that the camera was sent with the only battery in the camera. I've learned that this runs the battery down faster and can decrease its life span. Fortunately, I ordered additional batteris at the same time.

  • Summary: Anti shake is excellent. On biking holiday I was able to carry camera in sports arm carrier and take it out and take pictures of group behind me whilst cycling by just pointing camera in sports scene mode and clicking. Results were astonishingly good in circumstances. A little gem with good battery life as well.
  • Pros: Excelent point and shoot with small size so its always with you
  • Cons: no view finder, LCD screen invisible in Australian sunlight through sunglasses

Great little shooter

  • Summary: I'm a fairly old-fashioned guy when it comes to cameras. I grew up using a fully manual Pentax SLR with a fixed focal length 55mm lens. My main digital camera is a Nikon DSLR. So I am fairly picky when it comes to choosing a pocket camera to carry about to situations where I wouldn't carry the dSLR. This, however is the second Panasonic Lumix FX series camera I purchase.

  • Summary: this camera really is great. good zoom, good megapixel count, slim and it takes great pictures. i have taken many pictures with this camera and have taken it on skiing holidays and summer holidays in Corfu and it can handle all climates, lights and weather. obviously if you want to take professional shots thena SLR or DSLR is for you but if you want a camera to take around and take really good pictures then this is the camera for you.
