Great Camera

  • Summary: This is a great camera for everyday use, family, vacation, etc. It is very easy to use in auto mode and does have advance modes for manual shooting. The two thinkgs I like the most are 1) The 'Mode Wheel' is protected so that when you put the camera in and out of your pocket, it doesn't change the shooting mode. This may not sound like a big deal, but my last camera I ruined or missed many shots because when a I took the camera out it was in the incorrect mode.

Excellent camera

  • Summary: So far I have been very satisfied with this camera. It's easy to use, looks good, fits well in the hand. I wish that it had more manual features- I know it's a point and click, but it's a little harder to get exactly what you want than I might like. Other than that, the picture quality is excellent and I would highly recommend this camera.
  • Pros: Bright LCD, Comfortable Controls, Short Lag Time, Strong Construction
  • Cons: No real manual control

All the features none of the headache

  • Summary: The on and off switch couldn't make turning it on/off any easier. Normal picture mode is easier than intelligent iso mode. Many scene selections-i recommend party for indoors. I have to keep my exposure up a third. Great amount of megapixels. Annoying little red light on intel. iso mode. Just about everything can be turned off or on. Wide angle. Face selection. Goes on and off quickly. No viewfinder, though I haven't found i needed it yet.
  • Pros: Bright LCD, Comfortable Controls, Easy Setup, Easy to Keep Clean, Few buttons, Long Battery life, Short Lag Time, Strong Construction
  • Cons: Can not zoom while Video, Doesn't come w mem card, Intelligent iso not specl
