Panasonic DMC FX35

William Harding, Amazon

  • Summary: Overall this camera seems quite well made. ( Its actually made in Japan). It does look similar to models made by other manufacturers. To me it was a diappointing purchase. I own a Canon IXUS i (4MP) and the quality of the pictures from the Canon IXUS i are far superior despite it being only 4MP and the Panasonic over 10MP. It is also something of a confusing camera to use. It has this intelligent auto mode which does not seem to do much for picture quality.

Good - but not as good as it reviewed everywhere

  • Summary: I bought FX35 after reading a lot of reviews, its been praised in all the reviews. But after using for a couple of weeks, I am not very impressed with it. I think all reviews are a bit one sided. My previous camera was a Canon IXUS 800IS, in comparison to that FX35's picture quality is not good. Intelligent Auto and Face recognition are very good functions. Main negative points for me are -Picture quality leaves lot to be desired.

Great pics and movie but terrible audio on movie

N. green "nick", Amazon
24 March 2008
  • Summary: Only get this cam if you want to take good pics with good widescreen shooting and a good x4 optical zoom. Movie mode quality is best yet for a compact but audio is very very poor that this makes this camera worthless if you want to take movies...go with an ixus 960/970 or 85/90is.

  • Summary: Los 25mm wideangle superguay angle son teremendos.
