Leica-quality lens with Made in Japan electronics!
11 November 2012
Summary: This 7.2 MP Lumix, with lens by Leica, is a gem! The lens has no distortion, which makes it wonderful for architectural photography and documentation. The only drawback is that I have not figured out how to adjust its software for various light conditions, such as incandescent and fluorescent, because I bought it used with no manual. Otherwise, it is sleek, well-built, small enough to fit into a shirt pocket, and flawlessly engineered.
Summary: This camera has many features, including Intelligetn ISO, which basically makes it very easy to take good pictures. It has a very nice design, very compact and durable. Its user interface is very simple and user friendly.
Summary: This camera is very user friendly. The camera takes point and shoot pictures that are just beautiful. The battery seems to never go dead, and when it finally does, it charges back up in a flash. Can't go wrong with this one.
Summary: This camera was a gift for my daughter. Buying a digital camera is so confusing with myriad models at a wide range of prices. Without being a camera buff I had little or no way to compare value and quality. This model had some good reviews, was a great prce and is very petite, which is what we wanted. It is easy to use and takes good pictures. Tip - buy an additional memory card, the camera only holds very few pictures out of the box.
Summary: I bought this for my wife right before we went to Disney. She just wanted something that was easy to use and would fit in her pocket so she could take lots of pictures of the kids. She will never use most of the features but I was impressed on the amount of features for a camera in this price range. This is our second camera in Lumix line and I know two people who have other models and I would recommend them to anybody.
Summary: I am an amateur photographer that sometimes takes photos for professional outlets. The colours are rich and deep in the pictures that it takes. Even at lower bit settings the pictures are amazing. The higher the setting, the more detail (obviously). It's so small, that I don't want to hurt it!
Pros: Bright LCD, Comfortable Controls, Easy Setup, Easy to Keep Clean, Short Lag Time, Strong Construction
Summary: I am definitely pleased with the purchase of this camera. I took it on a trip to Europe, and it was perfect because its so small and lightweight, I could easily fit it into a small purse or wear it around my wrist. Its also nice because it has a wide screen, so its perfect for taking scenery shots, because you get a little bit more than you would with a normal camera.
