Great Panasonic digital waterproof & impact resistant camera!

Excerpt: Santa brough us a great DMC-TS2 Panasonic Lumix camera last year, which we took on vacation with us to the beach. We were a bit nervous about getting it wet, even though it is a waterproof camera, but while we were taking pictures at the shoreline, I dropped it right into the ocean. DUH! Well, it turns out that the camera really is waterproof! How bout that? The camera emerged completely unharmed, and worked perfectly.
Excerpt: We were looking for a camera that not only took great pictures, but also HD video as well. After reviewing many cameras, we decided on this Panasonic model. We were a little leary about buying it as we personally didn't know a lot about Panasonic cameras, and it wasn't one of the brands that everyone talks a lot about. After realizing it had all the features we were looking for (and more) we took the plunge and ordered it.
Excerpt: The Panasonic Lumix DMC-TS2 is awesome. It is waterproof, shockproof, and freezeproof. I bought this camera as a christmas gift and the very first day I put this camera into a fish tank. There was no leak in the case. I took the picture and the quality is very good. This camera is 15.1 megapixel. The picture quality with regular pictures are amazing. If you are looking into a waterproof camera you should get this camera. Also if you go to a waterpark there...
Summary: This is a tough little guy with great photo quality through the Leica lense. Photo quality is quite decent and I've used it on extended winter mountaineering trips, whitewater kayaking, and out in the ocean. We also have a non waterproof version of the Panasonic with better photo quality but this one has stood up to some pretty extremes conditions.
My pics come out way better than my friends& fast shooting.

Summary: GREAT Camera! This has taken a beating on the beach, in kayaks,at concerts, underwater, pool, been dropped while biking, had drinks spilled on it at the dance club, been put in the cooler by mistake and still takes the fastest, best pictures of all my friends cameras. The lighting looks lovely, the moon, sunsets and nature shots amazing, burst mode is like a stop action movie its so fast, and I am the worst photographer!
Summary: I bought this camera because I have a young daughter that loves to take pictures. It is great for taking underwater pictures, they come out looking great. Great for snow since it doesn't matter if the camera falls on the snow or if it is really cold outside. Takes great videos too! The shock proof is awesome! Nice pictures! I am not an expert but wanted something durable, easy to use and with decent pictures and this is it!
Summary: I have been annoying all of my friends taking pictures, have had several point and shoots that have not held up. I throw it in the water with the Pentax floating strap with no worries, or jump in with it on my wrist. Great video even underwater. Very pleased, lots of great features and can take a beating and still take great pics.
Summary: I finally tested in Playa del Carmen Mexico, both; on the beach and pool. Despite the fact that I did not have a mask I managed to take good pictures of prople underwater. Next will be close ups of corals etc. For the price, it is very practical and it did delivered.
Summary: I've had this camera since March and I've used it in two settings where the waterproof feature was necessary. First was a trip to Mexico where the camera withstood sand and splashes. The big test though was the white water rafting trip we just returned from. Our raft flipped and the camera was strapped to my boyfriend's wrist. After traveling two miles under water, (under very COLD water) the camera is still working perfectly!
