Piece of Junk... Do not buy this Camera!
Mickey Lover, Amazon

Summary: I purchased this camera knowing it was Panasonic brand. All my home electronics are made by Panasonic because I am very happy with it. After 14 months of purchasing this camera, for no reason at all it has stopped working. I thought it was the battery and at the airport I purchased a new battery that cost me $35.00 dollars. The camera still not working and I just wasted the money buying the new battery. It ruins my vacations for not having any pictures souviners.
Summary: On August 27 2010, I bought a Lumix DMC-TS2 14.1 MP camera on Amazon.com. At the very first time when I used it underwater and the day after, in spite of all appropriate care, it presented the lens visor smoked and stopped working . I live in Rio, Brazil. At the local Panasonic technical support they told me that it would be too expensive to fix the camera here. I need to send it to the USA for repairing.
Summary: I looked at a number of options before choosing. I was attracted by the waterproof depth rating as well as the HD Video. The camera was hardly used since the initial purchase months ago. I bought it so that my daughter could take pics while snorkeling in the shallows. On its first outing, both seals failed completely. The camera was never more than six inches under and within an hour, the lens began fogging up and that was it. The unit is full of salt water.
Summary: The camera does not allow you to import movies to your computer unless you use their supplied editing software. Once the movies are in your computer you STILL cannot use your favorite editing programs. You can only use Panasonic's supplied editing software (PhotoFunStudio), which is FILLED with disclaimers about how it may not work properly. ALL movies made on this camera, both standard or hi-def, are not even recognized by Windows Movie Maker!
Summary: Comments about Panasonic Lumix DMC-TS2 Point & Shoot Digital Camera: Very bad quality, I send it to Panasonic who fixed it but still extremly disapointed. My old Canon was doing a much better job, faster, better in every ways. I will never purchase a Panasonic product again...
Cons: Poor Image Quality, Poor Image Stabilization, Poor in Low Light, Short Battery Life
Summary: I waited impatiently for this camera to be released. I had such high hopes!! I got the camera in April, a few weeks after it was released for sale. Today is October 12, 2010 and it no longer works. I am currently on hold waiting for a Panasonic customer support supervisor. I have been on hold now for one hour and 20 minutes. So not only am I completely disappointed in the camera, now I am thoroughly disgusted with the customer service; I mean lack of customer service.
Pros: It took (past tense) great photos. Downloading, even into my Mac was a breeze . . . until about 6 weeks ago. It still takes great pictures . . .
Cons: however it now longer will download the photos into my Mac or any other computer., Customer service is apparently nonexistent, as it has now been 1 hour and 25 minutes since I was put on hold.
Summary: This is my first review and im by now mean a professional photographer. Ive bought the ts2 as an upgrade from my ts1. May of 2010 i purchased this camera, ive taken it with me on my trip to jamaica. At first everything was fine, great pictures, videos, etc. Once i got the camera in the water (not deep, literally just putting it in the ocean) the front lens started getting condensation, once out of the water the condensation would go away after couple of minutes.
Pros: Great picture quality, easy to use, hd video and many different shooting modes
Summary: Je ne comprends pas cette fabrication ! Pourquoi la partie OPTIQUE/Électronique n'est-elle pas complètement ÉTANCHE ? Là, la partie optique communique allègrement avec la partie batterie... c'est du grand n'importe quoi !
