Waterproof, Durable, But So-So Results

Summary: This camera works well for what is designed for, as in a good point and shoot waterproof camera that can stand up to abuse from the elements. The downside is that it takes a lot of experimenting with the voluminous settings to get quality results, and usually you don't know what you got until you...
I was sent the wrong camera, but like the wrong one better now. And these cameras are pretty great, too.

Summary: OK... I'm giving this 3-stars ONLY because of the fact that this was NOT the product I had originally bought. Apparently, if they are out of the product you pay for, they simply send you the next step up instead.
Summary: There are only two things I don't like...no lens cover (gets smudges and pocket lint) and no viewfinder with option to turn off the back screen, which is bright at night. Other than that, this camera has been to combat in Iraq, travelled to Europe, swam in two oceans, canoe camping, mountain hiking.
Summary: I love the color size shape and FUNCTION of this camera. I went snorkeling and took great photos underwater, that is, when the fish stayed still enough. Be very careful however to make sure the doors are sealed. I was concerned where the springs on the battery compartment mesh.
Summary: Picture quality is excellent. Taken it to many snorkeling and beach/pool trips. The underwater photos are great. Don't forget to white balance even underwater. Don't forget to rinse after the beach or pool. I think that because I didn't, there is a very tough water drop stain on the lens window.
Summary: This is absolutely the best camera I have ever bought. It takes great pictures. It takes great video. The special effect presets are awesome and work with video, which few point and shoots do. It is as rugged as it is made out to be and then some. It survived a white water canoeing accident.
Summary: I purchased this camera knowing it was Panasonic brand. All my home electronics are made by Panasonic because I am very happy with it. After 14 months of purchasing this camera, for no reason at all it has stopped working.
Great Camera. But no support from Panasonic or Amazon

Summary: I bought this back late 2010 and took it with me on a trip to Costa Rica. Had it in the pool, beach and even zip lining over the rain forest! Beautiful photos and videos. Like other have said. Water spots can be an issue. But that is true of any water proof camera.
Summary: This camera is awesome! Have had it for a year this Christmas. Has been down to 20feet while snorkeling and had no problems with fogging or water leakage! My wife breaks everything and has yet to break this thing! Been to Jamaica, Grand Turk, and Nassau and is still going strong!
Summary: Nothing but problems with this camera. It is not shock proof by any means, and I've returned 3 of them for warranty service within a 15 month time frame. The first time occurred when I took the camera rafting in Columbia.
