The Lumix DMC-TS2 is a real scam. It is not even waterproof at 3 meters if it remains a bit of time in water. Additionally Panasonic has a warranty system that is not international. Having bought this camera at the airport in Seoul, they require that I return the camera at the airport and not to the Panasonic shop next door to me.

I have an Olympus SW1030 and have taken some superb underwater pictures and videos with it. Less than 15 months later it will only do playback and will not take pictures or videos. I've seen many other complaints regarding this very same problem. Is this common to most underwater or tough type cameras or simply an Olympus problem? I want an underwater camera, don't feel that I should have to pay Olympus to pay for their faulty camera and am very "gun-shy" about other underwater cameras. I do like the Lumix cameras, however, and wonder if this one might be a better bet?
