Present for my wife
Summary: I did a fair amount of research before deciding on the Panasonic DMC-FS45 digital camera. My wife was delighted with the camera which can easily fit in her handbag. We took it on holiday recently and the photos were excellent.
Summary: My man notion of gold is a blingy yellow, something akin to that daft robotty thing on star wars - 3GPO or something? This camera is a pink rose gold and a beautiful colour no question but, TOTALLY unacceptable for a 12 yr old Boy!
Summary: Bought these for work to replace some outdated Sony cameras. Tempted by the complete package rather than having to buy individually and Leica lens. Still trying to get my head around some of the functions, but at the current moment does not appear as adaptable as the cameras it replaces. The unit is small and light and easy to use, the case is reasonable but not as good as a Crumpler or equal.
Summary: At first this seemed to be a nice little camera. However after only four months it has failed. The zoom function is permanently jammed on which means most other functions are inoperable. Unfortunately this happened at the start of our two week family holiday which was somewhat annoying. At least I could still take pictures but only with the zoom on full. This makes things rather awkward.
Summary: This was a present for my wife, who enjoys photography but can't be bothered to take her SLR everywhere with her. It is a neat fit for her bag. I haven't really tested the picture quality by making large prints, but it is easy to use and has no obvious faults. It can print direct to a printer (with a USB connection), and has enough memory to take plenty of pictures.
