Summary: I had this camera for 6 1/2 months, liked it alot, but yesterday displayed system error (focus) and will not do anthing, cannot clear the error. Tried removing battery, also recharged the battery. The lens will not retract, unless you put pressure on it with your hand.
Summary: I got a perfect Fs-15 on Ebay for $55 I couldn,t resist.I have the fs7 which is more basic but similar. The 2.33 12mp sensor on this one is not as clean or sharp of an image as the 10mp 2.5 sensor on the fs7.Color banding is also a problem(splotches of gold color in pics)Grain shows up fairly strong...
Summary: The camera is not bad. It is user friendly, easy to navigate. The picture quality was not as good as my older Canon. The biggest problem was that the camera was totaled after only one drop. It slipped from the carrying case and broke.
Summary: This was a Christmas gift to my granddaughter, and she loves it. It takes wonderful pictures, with many features. It arrived in two days, but when we tried to plug the USB cable into the camera, it would not go. The port in the camera was obviously defective.
Summary: Everything is easy and nice to handle as far as function concerned. Quality of picture reflects "pricing". So it is acceptable but don't expect high end camera quality. Battery life is the weakest of this camera.
I guess this is what you get with a point-and-shoot

Summary: I have a Canon Digital Rebel XTi that I use primarily, but I purchased this to carry around when I didn't want to lug around a larger case. So coming from that perspective I feel like the photo quality is not that great. The images seem really grainy, but I really like the colors.
Summary: I purchased the lumix FS15 to replace my aging Canon A... After getting this camera I took lots of pictures indoors and outdoors. I felt that it consistently underperformed in both situations.
Summary: I did see in a review a note 'slow shutter' but my budget did not allow me to go for a better lumix. If you can invest more i would recommend to do so as this one is great for those who are not catching things on the run - shutter is simply to slow for that..
