Summary: I love this one so much that now, a year after I bought my first and it was just snatched from me, I've ordered another one as a replacement. I've taken a look at the newer stuff, and I'm sold that this one is still the best. Super fast to start up and I am able to capture tons of pictures that I would have missed with other cameras, and that's what this is all about -- happy snappies. Also like the 4+x optical zoom.
Summary: I just can't say enough about this camera. I really love everything about it. I looked around for quite a bit comparing cameras before settling on this and I'm so glad I did. Aside from all the spectacular settings on this, the Auto setting is amazing. It is constantly sensing where you are and what type of light is there. All my photos are so sharp and clean, better than I ever would have expected.
Summary: I was a Sony user before this camera but after I dropped my Sony I wanted to give a chance to this one because it was more cheaper with good reviews and specifications. I can honestly say that I'm happy that my old camera was broken, it was so slow comparing to this one and image quality wasn't better than this one. This thing can focus so quickly and you dont miss any shots. It's just the way I like, kids don't like to wait while you picture them.
Summary: Here are the strong points of this camera: - Very small, about the size of a pack of cards with half the thickness - Very speedy startup - Very little shutter lag - Good quality photos (amazing, considering it's a small folded lens) - Inexpensive Weak points: - The anchor for the wrist strap is unusually large and slightly obtrusive. - Video quality is good - No cover for the lens, but you can probably work around it.
Summary: I have only just begun to use this camera so I don't have lots of info yet, but I already love it . the size of the camera is awsome for travelling. It is very compact and fits in a belt hip holder for easy retrieval. batteries are proprietary, so I would reccomend having a spare to continue long shoots while on the go, as this tends to be my only drawback when using this type of battery.
Summary: We travelled across America, on a motorcycle. My wife snapped 1064 pictures while we were on the road. The picture quality is superb, the camera is simple to use, easy to access when you want to get a quick shot and the software support is next to none. Worth the price and it's recommended by Consumers Reports.
Summary: I've had a number of point and shoot cameras (Sony, Olympus) and this one is by far the best. Takes great stills and video. No lag on the shutter, focus is instant. I was concerned about the reviews I read that noted issues with the flush lens design- that there might be a tendency to get fingers in front of the lens but I really don't find this to be a problem. The ergonomics of the camera are just fine.
Summary: For $159.00, this camera is probably the best point and shoot camera in the market to date. Some of the outdoor shots coming out of this camera is similar to my full frame Nikon D700 DSLR camera. Indoor shots are great too; however, I would not recommend this camera for fast indoor sports photography without a flash. The black color is the cheapest color. Other colors go above the $200.00 range.
