Summary: The camera itself looks slick, but I really disliked the cheap-feeling buttons and overall plastic-y functions. It's an okay camera for the money and takes fine pictures. The menus can be irritating to navigate through; I like using built-in features but navigating through them is kind of a hassle...
Summary: Great hand-held size, super cute, easy to use, shoots fast, and easy to get to know. Most of the pictures have turned out great, with good true color, however, some images have turned out slightly off - not super sharp and crisp.
Summary: I love this one so much that now, a year after I bought my first and it was just snatched from me, I've ordered another one as a replacement. I've taken a look at the newer stuff, and I'm sold that this one is still the best.
Summary: I just can't say enough about this camera. I really love everything about it. I looked around for quite a bit comparing cameras before settling on this and I'm so glad I did. Aside from all the spectacular settings on this, the Auto setting is amazing.
Summary: Within the past few months I purchased 3 compact cameras in the 12+ megapixel range with 5X zoom or more. They were this Lumix, because I love my old FX30, Sony WSC-370 be cause I love my a10 DSLR, and Nikon S70, because I love my P80.
Summary: I was a Sony user before this camera but after I dropped my Sony I wanted to give a chance to this one because it was more cheaper with good reviews and specifications. I can honestly say that I'm happy that my old camera was broken, it was so slow comparing to this one and image quality wasn't...
Summary: So far I have really liked this camera. I will saw that the camera lens is in a weird spot and I have found many pictures with my finger in it. It may take me a while to change how I hold the camera. Also, switching from picture to video is a few extra steps more than I like.
Summary: I like this little camera. The only problem I have is not having a separate view finder. I have to remember to keep my finger out of the way of the lens. I am used to viewfinders, not just looking at screens.
Summary: I bought this camera for the upcoming holiday season. After reading many reviews and also seeing that it was a Consumer Reports winner, I decided to get the FP8. The menu on it was not as easy to navigate as a Canon or Kodak, but it was manageable.
