Summary: This is the second Lumix FH6 that I have purchased. I wanted to get it while I could still purchase this model...and this was at a good price. I am still using the first one after 2 years (and it has been through a lot)....and although I don't use all the bells and whistles...it has produced some amazing photos for me, so I am not quite ready to go to a higher level of camera just yet. I love the scenic shots I've gotten..
Summary: This camera is compact and weighs very little but it easily takes beautiful pictures and has the fastest shutter I've ever seen in a point and shoot camera. The shutter speed alone makes it worth it but I'm also blown away by the color quality of the photos. The pictures are so crisp! I had a good feeling about this purchase and I feel like my research paid off. This is exactly what I was looking for in a digital camera.
Summary: I haven't had it long enough to know whether I'll love it as much as the Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ35 that I bought in 2010. I wanted something much smaller, that would fit in my purse. I think this camera will work nicely for when I can't carry a bigger camera.
Summary: Our first digital camera was a Sony and we were never quite happy with the pictures. Then again it was only 8 megapixals and things have come a long way since then. This Panasonic Lumix takes great pictures even in low light. I took some really good pictures at a concert which is difficult to do.
Summary: This camera offers some very high end applications and is on the higher price of the point and shoot market but when you see the picture quality you will understand why. It is the middle step between entry level point and shoot and a SLR camera..
