Summary: I ordered the camera to take on a trip and when I got home it had stopped working. Battery is good. I got busy and forgot to send it back. Now it's past 30 days. I believe now I'm stuck with an useless lemon.
Summary: The camera I bought was supposed to be new, but the packaging of the box clearly showed it had been opened and taped over several times including both masking tape and clear packaging tape. The box had some damage to it and looked to be smashed. The mailing envelope was padded with some bubble wrap, but the box was loosely positioned in there and offered almost no buffer to collapse. I didn't open the camera box, and am expecting a full refund.
Black spots in all images after a few months, warranty a joke!

Summary: After just a 4-6 months of using the camera there were black spots in images, that got bigger with zoom. Likely dust on an inner lens due to an ineffective seal, they'd move around sometimes. Amazon wouldn't replace it and gave me contact info for Panasonic. After spending copious time on hold and completing a warranty return, I sent the camera back. A few weeks later I received a replacement, to my surprise that is an FH6 and NOT the FH5 that I sent them.
Summary: I ordered this camera from a big box store after reading all the reviews here on Amazon. I'm disappointed that the 16mp do not come close to the 10mp Norcent camera I had prior to this one. I've only had this model a few days and I am not happy with how grainy the pictures come out. When blowing up a photo, you'd think 16mp would keep the image crisp and sharp, not so with this camera. Everything had a bad grainy appearance to it, and I did try many different settings.
